We ate here twice - the menu is fairly standard but the food is decent and portions generous. We shared a good mixed grill on the first night, and on the second I tried the moussaka (good) and my husband had a simple but good...pork souvlaki. Wine by the carafe was decent quality, and the staff are all extremely pleasant and good-humoured. It's quite a big place with a lot of covers, so I can only assume that in normal times it gets very busy, probably with mainly tourist traffic, but in COVID times everything is so much quieter - however there was a steady stream of customers while we were there, most of whom looked to be having a nice time. We're dog lovers so the two big soppy hounds owned by the restaurant, who were padding around the tables didn't bother us at all, but I did notice they were very swiftly seen off by one of the waiters when another customer requested it. He's obviously done it many times before!More

Very nice staff and the food was delicious. Wasn’t expecting that, because it is located in the touristic part of the town. But Youngblood’s dove in the beautiful atmosphere and the wonderful dishes. One thing I have to agree though - please free the poor...birds.More

I was at first a bit skeptical, the restaurant being located in the touristic city and on a very touristic road, but the salad meteora we tried, with rocket and small fruits was fabulous and quite refreshing after a long day of visits. The pork...ribs were more like grilled pork chops than Texan style ribs, but still quite good, while the veal with onions was really great, not unlike a North African tagine. House wines, red and white, were ok. Service was fast and pleasant. You can find good ice creams down the road, there are two good bakeries selling ice creams. Enjoy !More

Absolutely beautiful starter - we chose the mixed cold appetisers and it was a huge selection of dips, salads and vegetables. Highly recommend it and our mains were lovely too, the oven cooked potatoes are delicious.

Everyone we asked in Meteora (in Kastraki Village and In Kalambaka Town), has said to us that this is the best restaurant around. And we tend to agree, if you are looking for nicely cooked home food and lovely atmosphere: they even have alive birds...singing, just next to your table! I had absolutely adorable aubergine stew there, which I could not compare with any other places, there I had tried the same dish. May be because they are a family business with a long history of nearly 100 years, or for some other reasons, but they seems keep nice standards in all respect: from quality of food to the level of service. Staff are very pleasant to communicate and very healthful. Highly recommend for traditional Greek cousin.More

We were looking for a place serving vegan food as well as meat and our hotel manager recommended this restaurant. In the centre of town, very friendly staff and food that was even more delicious than what my mother used to cook. We miscalculated as...we’re unaware of portion sizes and ordered way too much food. All absolutely delicious and not too oily. Recreations of traditional salads ie potatoe salad or aubergine salad, excellent, with a modern twist. Very reasonably priced. Family of 4 paid 68 euro. Highly recommended.More
