Great driver reviver and passenger stop on the way to the Illawarra, Shoalhaven or any point South. Do I really want to tell you about it or keep it to myself and others who have dared to slow and venture in. Most people seem to just whizz by. The view is divine along with the gelato. Good coffee and friendly service is a bonus. A well appointed toilet stop. You can grab coffee and go or sit and savour the view and purchase a packet of great Italian dried pasta for later.

Visited this place on New Year's Day for some afternoon dessert and coffee. There are a few spots right up front for 15 minutes which were very handy to drop off your passengers, especially kids, before going just a little further down to park the car. All tables were distanced appropriately, and almost all taken by the time we sat down at the table. Good vibe overall.
There were 2 large displays of gelato, plenty of flavours to choose from. We had the chocolate, hazelnut, mango & passionfruit gelato. The kids' favourite were the chocolate gelato. The adults thought the passionfruit one was the best flavour and not too sweet. The mango one not as good, we have definitely tasted better elsewhere.
For drinks I had the flat white, which I enjoyed, nice and strong. All our hot drinks were served in takeaway cups. The apple pie we shared had soggy pastry, not very nice. But all in all, the magnificent view over Wollongong made up for the trip. We would definitely return to try the other gelato flavours.
On reflection of our trip here, I realised I did not check in, nor recall if there was any QR code. I hope there was one because all businesses are mandated from today onwards to have the code.

This is one of the highest place in Australia to have a gelato. They possess a myriad authentic collection of Italian gelato for you to choose from. That will leave you with a problem as all the varieties are so appealing to the eyes and stomach. Good luck !!

Ordered four, expensive, pies. One came out, waited 15 minutes and asked where the other pies were, forgotten by the looks of things, 2 more came out, a bit later asked where the last pie was, forgotten by the looks of things. The last pie came and it was not hot. Took it back, waited, asked the girl at the counter where the pie was and the answer was “I have no idea, I don’t work back there.
Absolutely, the worst service ever experienced.

Popped in here for a gelato after a hike in the national park with my daughter yesterday at about 215 pm. An elderly gent was served, then one of the 3 female staff spoke briefly to a man about business. I then stood there for 4 minutes and no one offered to serve me. One lady was busy cleaning in the cake section but neither of the other two made eye contact but walked past me on the other side of the counter 2 or 3 times. Eventually the older woman actually walked past me, looked at me and then carried on to get herself a cold drink from the fridge. I left at this stage. I know 4 minutes doesn’t sound like a long time to wait but there was no one else aiming to be served. It was some “welcome to the gong”.

Food good, service poor. Views beautiful!
No access to toilets as service centre was closed on a busy Sunday afternoon. I’m sure they have keys... but they said they don’t. Parents needed bathroom urgently.... they didn’t care.

On a family day out we stopped in here for breakfast. The cafe is spacious, clean and bright with large windows overlooking the coast below.
The croissants were really good, as was the coffee and biscuits. Service with a smile makes this a rather nice place to stop for a break while on the road. The view is pretty special too.

Cold coffee and no assistance or replacement coffee when I tripped and fell on an unmarked trip hazard approaching the seating area. Elderly or frail people could cause serious injury. No assistance from staff even with a person visibly bleeding and hurt. No markings on the very un even ground. Be careful or keep driving.

I had my 11 month olds in the high chairs provided and they were eating as babies do, a little mess under the table. One staff member came over and took one of the plates, then loudly and rudely demanded I ‘sweep up that mess as it is a ohs hazard’. I was in shock and couldn’t say more than ok, even though my friend and I hadn’t finished. No way we were staying after the scene created by her loud demand, I cleaned the small mess under the table and left. Will not ever be stopping there again as the only good thing about it was the view.

Pistachio and Macadamia were delicious and full of flavour.

We had 2 great coffees and my wife had a fabulous gelato. The service was very good and fast, the array of products offered is exceptional. We were so impressed that we ended up buying some beautiful Italian chocolates.
