Amazing experience! Friendly staff & tasty food. Will definitely return. Worth the hours drive for Father’s Day breakfast!
I am a vegetarian and ordered a cheese and tomato toasted sandwich, what l got was ham cheese and tomato sandwich. So l told the waiter that l was vegetarian and l don’t eat meat, the waiter took my sandwich back to kitchen and came...back out and delivered the sandwich without ham. They didn’t cook new sandwich as it came out one or two minutes later. Wasn’t happy as l have been there plenty of times. So vegetarians beware .More
Had a delicious cappuccino. The barista today had serious skills! Love this cafe. Also, I didn’t know ham cheese and tomato toasted sandwich could taste so good :-)
Waited over 30 minutes for a takeaway coffee, would have been faster to order from Uber Eats. The cafe is understaffed with the chef having to deliver food and serve tables (very hygienic).
Breakfast for two sitting on the balcony in the sun. Very good poached eggs with bacon, and a huge “Big Breakfast”. A great place to sit back and enjoy a leisurely breakfast whilst watching the never-ending parade of joggers and cyclists do their thing. PS....Great coffee (and 3 choices of mug size)More
Great brekky despite the pouring rain and rough seas. Friendly welcome, fantastic views and a very good bacon roll with hash browns and my wife loved her eggs Benedict. Nice coffee too, going back tomorrow!
My goto coffee for my walks in the morning. I have tried the other cafes along the beach walk, woonona to Bulli, hands down the beet.
Quick stop for lunch and we were very impressed. Fish & Chips from the blackboard menu really tasty and a good sized serving. Coffees great. Service great. We'll be back for more.
Went to Ruby's for an afternoon drive with family. The food was filling and arrived shortly after we ordered. The staff were pleasant and the owner took interest in our group and was very friendly. Great location with ocean views. We will be back.
Casual coffee and meals right on the coastal cycle way with beach views and cool breezes. Sit under cover or outside.
You walk from the carpark across a little bridge to Ruby's. It's a cute beachside cafe with a wide verandah across the front. Quick service and lovely staff. Food is good and very reasonably priced.
Black coffee was below average - that is my litmus test. View and vibe were great. It is a lovely location. Maybe the regular barista was ill.
I visited Ruby's on Thursday 9th January with my daugher and her dog. Food was good and the service better. Great location for a cool ocean breeze while you eat. Unfortunately the view is a little obstructed.
When on holidays away from home it's great to catch up with friends over breakfast and Ruby's is an ideal place to enjoy a well cooked, well- presented meal. Coupled with the outlook over the beach it ticks all the boxes for atmosphere and location....Highly recommended.More
