Friday Lunch

Such a cool place! Discovered on the train coming back from Sydney, and had it on our bucket list. Came here on a Friday for lunch with my family around midday and ended up sitting in the gorgeous courtyard in the sun. Enjoyed the design and the no-touch toilet facilities. The beer selection was fantastic! Would recommend the Raspberry Sour, the West Coast IPA, and the Hazy IPA. The food that my partner and parents ordered came out in good time, however there was a confusion with my order; the Vegetarian Reuben has cheese which is not specified on the menu. After waiting to speak to someone, I was told to talk to the Chef specifically, who turned out to be condescending, rude and patronizing. Wouldn’t recommend eating here after my experience, and definitely wouldn’t recommend if you have dietary requirements. It was disappointing after the experience leading up to eating was great. Maybe i’ll just order beer next time...

Great spot but terrible food

This venue is well fabulous, well designed and great to visit. Unfortunately the food is terrible. Please can you get a new chef or make some more tasty dishes. The duck salad tasted like ham, the chicken had a tasteless yellow sauce, and the fish curry tastes like it from a jar. Very disappointing.

surprise find near Bulli train. Good food, beer and service

surprise find near Bulli train station. It opened in March 2020 after 2 years of lovingly restoring the building. The outside sitting areas are really well zoned and have umbrellas. Even an area for people with dogs. A good range of beers brewed on site. I had the Sandon which was a nice beer. Food was good - the squid watermelon salad was refreshing for a warm day and tasty . My husband enjoyed the steak sandwich . Enjoyed the service, food, beer and atmosphere . Will definitely be back.

Atrocious food but ok beer and venue

We have supported this brewery since it’s opening but over the last year have become quite disappointed. Called in today and happy to pay 15% surcharge for public holiday. It is a beautiful venue to sit and relax with a good beer locally brewed . HOWEVER we cannot recommend even a snack here. Half an hour after ordering the chunky chips my husband went to check where they were . They told him that the kitchen staff had been on a break . No problem if we had been informed earlier. When they arrived 15 mins later I would not call these $10 of chunky chips ! French fries at the best and several burnt to a crisp. Unfortunately last time we visited for a more substantial lunch it was atrocious . Enjoy a beer and the courtyard but avoid the food

A big effort has gone into making the space really nice, service was unfriendly. We ordered 2 chicken wings, one serving was burnt. Waitress at the bar said they were not burnt just had too much basting. The wings were black! We returned the wings and the waitress said they could make them again. I said my daughter was turned off and could we have a refund. Refund was refused so we paid for burnt wings we didn’t eat. Kids fish n chip- excellent Brisket burger- Smokey and good.

Tasty meal & great service

Our family of 6 recently had an evening meal at Resin Brewery. The food serves were a perfect size, & all meals were very tasty. The menu was not large, however provided choices for all tastes. The beers were quite good too.

I took my Dad to Resin yesterday for a taste test and to pick up a couple of 6 packs of the best tasting drinks. My wife contacted them a couple of days ago and was told to come and taste and 6 packs were available for approximately $48. Found out when we got there we were that no tasting available due to Covid. We understand the reason but don’t know why my wife Was provided the wrong information. We enjoyed our one beer but to our surprise the brewery only had 8 Assorted cans left for purchase. None of which was the one we liked.

Excellent crafted Beers

Our trip to Resin Brewery in Bulli since COVID 19 lockdown started in March was put off until now. Since it's been lifted with social distancing still being applied we decided to drive from Sydney on a Sunday. It's only an hour and a half drive depending on which part of Sydney you are from. The waiters are very courteous and polite and we were seated immediately. The dining and the bar counters have a rustic look. The distillers are in view and the smell of hops. We head to the bar counter to sample a few beers and ordered the Olfaction NEIPA and Resinate IPA beers. Both tasted very good. The best IPA beer I have so far. We ordered lunch as well and the Eastbourne Hot Dog and the Ruben Burger were both delicious. Will definitely come back for more.

Overpriced and Overrated

Beer is ridiculously expensive, also must have problems with carbonation as all were flat within seconds on pour. Menu is the same, overpriced for what it is.. $22 for a hotdog!? Atmosphere lacking, mainly beer snobs thinking they are drinking the best which they aren't. Would recommend 'The Reub Goldberg Brewing Machine' in Tarrawanna if you are in the area. Cheaper beer, better food, better atmosphere...

What a great place!

Very highly recommended. We celebrated our son’s 21st here with his friends and had a great time. Food was great, nice atmosphere and staff were very friendly and helpful. We brought a cake but accidentally left the candles and decorations at home. We were privided with candles, plates and cutlery. Thanks for a great evening!

Very nice establishment. If only other NSW pubs were as congenial as this place. Good beers, helpful and friendly staff. Food is typical craft brewery fare. Not bad at all - very tasty in fact - but you are mainly there for the beer. And the renovation of the building is superb.

Tried this restaurant for the first time. We booked indoors ( although have an amazing outdoor area) . Loved the ambiance of the indoors , gave an industrial yet vintage feel but definitely have all the modern touches. Food are easy , pub like but very flavoursome. Staffs are friendly and accommodating to requests.

Newly reopened after Covid shutdown. Local brewing venture serving a small selection of food and wine varieties. Friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit. Hope to see this venture grow . Unfortunately no deserts available. Small range of gluten free and vegetarian meal options available. Although the menu was limited the food was delicious.

Visited this brewery with a group of friends. Atmosphere, venue and staff were great! The food was delicious. Mushroom arancini balls and the burgers were great. Unfortunately though the beer tasting platters were not all that great. For a brewery, and being a beer lover I found the beers to be flat, and somewhat undrinkable. I had to leave them on the table which is unheard of for me. Otherwise we had a great time in a beautiful location. Very easily accessible as is right beside Bulli Station!

Dog friendly, great food and beer

On first arriving reminded us very much of an Irish country pub, hanging flower baskets and garden out the front. Terrific atmosphere, dog friendly and fabulous staff. ..oh..and the food and beer are top notch too. Try the South American pulled pork burger. Best burger ever and the chips are devine. The owners have put a lot of thought and effort into this pub so I hope it goes well for them after opening to a pandemic in early 2020.
