Well worth the 4 minute drive from the interstate. Just be sure to look for the signs as Google maps gets you close but not quite to the driveway. Great hospitality, great food, great prices and a really cool atmosphere. One of those places you'll tell you friends about when you get back home

Really good home cooking. The staff was friendly and helpful. The coconut cake was the best I've ever had.

My husband grew up in DeValls Bluff, AR so living in Little Rock, AR as an adult means we meet his parents half way for lunch and dinner often. Today their choice was Advada's in Carlisle, AR. It was my first time to eat here. The outside is clean and inviting like you're going to a family reunion. Inside is... More

Worst fried chicken I've ever had. Fried twice too long. Hard and dry with the meat being brown. Their pork chops are no better. I'm local and will NEVER go there atain. They also offer no senior discount, saying they are trying to keep costs down. Does that make any sense???

A little hard to find, but certainly worth the effort. Open for breakfast with a limited menu, but food is good. Lunch is very good. Self serve all you can eat buffet with great home cooking. Different menu for each day, but same menu for that day each week. There is also a menu for lunch, but buffet is the... More

If you want to full small town dinning experience , Avada's is the place . Good food , friendly service but don't be late . When the lunch buffet runs out you are out of luck !

Advada's Diner in Carlisle, Arkansas, was a wonderful discovery. Down a side street and a bit out of the way, it looks like a big barn that's been renovated to feed the locals. But let me tell you, THEY KNOW HOW TO COOK! Monday thru Friday, they open at 5:30 a.m. and close at 2:00 p.m., and Saturdays they are... More

Definately a farmers and working man's breakfast and lunch place. Heavy on the carbs and flavor. Nice simple selection will have something for everyone. Get there early for the best desserts. Breakfast from the menu start at 5am but the put on a buffet breakfast about 8am. Both meals are great.
