The food was very good. The amount of time it took to get our food for 4 people was pretty ridiculous. We ordered burgers (which were delicious) and 2 other entres and waited nearly 45 minutes for our food There was a lot of socializing going on amongst the employees. Only one bathroom was available.

Finished a round of golf in Tuscan and headed off to Wisdom's Café for some margaritas and burritos. Upon arrival, the parking lot as well as the lot across the street was full so we headed back to Tubac. We decided to try the Italian Peasant as we had heard some good words as to food and service. The tables... More

The lunch we had here today is the worst meal we have had in ages. Stopped here after being at the Tubac Car Show and ordered 2 beers and a chicken sandwich and fish and chips - most of the food could not even be eaten. The fries were nothing but a pile of slimy grease and the chicken was... More

Always a great place to relax and enjoy pizza or any of their other offerings. The views of the mountains are beautiful.

Came here for lunch with my brother, his wife and 4 year old daughter First of all we had to wait in the hallway for someone to come seat us. Then when someone did come to front if house we were just dismissed it told to seat ourselves, which we did We then waited quite a while for someone to... More

For fun, I bought some beads foa a Tubac Tequila Trail for $5. (It is some joint promotion between the restaurants of Tubac). At Italian Peasant I received (as a part of the trail) 50% off a tequila drink & 2 slices of pizza for 1. The pizza was a nice New York style pizza. It had good flavoring in... More

Solid red-sauced Italian food. Generous amount of meat in my Spaghetti Bolognese. Came with bread. Filling. Service fine. Seemed like a place locals came to.

We had a very disappointing Shrimp Parmesan - only 4 large shrimp for us to share with pasta that was just OK. The tails were left on the breaded shrimp before sauce was added & it was baked. Our waitress assured us this was normal procedure. The salad prior to the main course was fine. The bread that accompanied the... More

We have been going to the Italian Peasant for years. The food is always very good. They have the best pizza in southern Arizona. A nice restaurant to visit, while shopping at Tubac. Or whenever you want good Italian food. You will not be disappointed.

was the only place opened on a sunday night of Labor day. I need to admit that as a food geek from NYC I was surprised that the food here seemed so very ordinary . We had the garlic chicken on angle hair pasta-- that had little garlic and was dry. I had the shrimp dish and that had enough... More
