Terrific grilled seafood with creamy mashed potatoes and salad. Absolutely delicious, nice and cozy athmosphere and excellent service. Curt is a really nice guy and will tell you all about his adventures around Drake Bay, assisted by the slideshow of incredible pictures and movies he has to show for them. We had a lovely evening.

Curt is the owner and only operator of this restaurant: a really nice guy with valuable and free advice on things to do in Drake Bay (he set us up with a really good night tour - a local guy taking us to his private "backyard" jungle - which was not on offer by the hotels around). He only has... More

We read about this place on Tripadvisor so we decided to go and... It was definitely worth it! The fish in banana leaf was so great and fresh and the conversation with curt was even better.... We also had the chance to see opossum right on the trees around the restaurant. It was such a great experience that we went... More

Fresh delicious food facing the tropical forest of Osa. Curt's place is visited daily by lots of colorful birds and small local wild fauna. A true experience. And if you are looking for info Curt is the guy to trust. He knows all peninsula trails...

The food portions are definitely for two people, and was very good. I don't eat fish, however since eating at Gringo Curt's I have began to try fish at other restaurants. He also helped us plan an awesome trip/hike to surf, then we caught a ride back with a tour boat. Awesome place!

Small, but perfectly formed. Just three basic plates on the menu, letting the fish itself take centre stage. Fresh catch every day. Generous portions, well balanced flavours to complement the fish. The wildlife in the garden was another bonus.

My boyfriend and I shared the fish plate. This came with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and the biggest piece of fish I've ever seen. I'm not kidding it must have been five pounds. Everything was spiced well and cooked to perfection! We got to watch the little night creatures out in the jungle, and Curt had pictures of all the fish/animals/birds... More

Description
Gringo Curt's Seafood & Visitor Center was established June 2010 and our menu has not changed to date. We have pride in our small menu because it assures that we can provide freshness throughout the year by purchasing fruits, vegetables and fresh fish daily. There are many benefits to having same day caught fish but one downside is that we cannot guarantee a time that we can open. If we have fish at 12pm, we open. Thank you for your consideration and look forward to your visit Pura Vida!
