The food we had was good but the service was slow. Not a fancy place but a place where a family would feel comfortable.

Excellent food, good prices and great service. Our server, Guy was friendly, cheerful and knowledgeable about the establishment, the menu and the local community events. Highly recommend going there and trying the pork shoulder meal.

It does appear that they are open on Thanksgiving and Christmas. On their calendar, they have "Raleigh Jay" playing from 12:00 - 4:00pm. Hope that helps.
