This is a favorite spot for lunch for my wife and myself. The menu is basically Hawaiian and everything is good. We general eat salads, but have tried most of the menu. Eric, the owner, is a great guy and a good community supporter. The atmosphere is island style, kicked back. You order at the counter and the food is... More

With how poor most of my experiences in Safford/Thatcher were last week, this place was a shining star. Great fish tacos, great rice, but the macaroni salad was just 'meh'. Really surprising how good it all was though, two tacos is enough.

Not exactly sure what type of restaurant this is, you would think Hawaiian but I'm not so sure. I had the pulled pork as well as the Mac and Cheese. The pulled pork was horrible, I am assuming it was baked and not BBQ'd. The BBQ sauce that came with the pork tasted strongly of vinegar, I asked for a... More

Sorry you did not enjoy your food. If you have never been to Hawaii you would not know the difference. Mac salad is the word you were looking for. We do not have Mac and cheese. Kalua Pork is not BBQ pork, it is slow roasted over night and not baked. There is no vinegar in the house sauce, it... More

So we go to this place. We thought it was like most Hawaiian food places. It's not. Hot dogs to whatever delicacy they sell. We got the teriyaki chicken, a scoop of rice, some yellow beige Mac salad. No teriyaki sauce, it cost 50 cents more if you want it, it will resemble a jelloy substance. Basically what we had... More

The kalua pork is excellent. The orange vinaigrette dressing is awesome and the salad greens are always fresh and crisp. The drive-up window is for pick-up only. A large scoop of white or brown sticky rice is served with every salad.

I absolutely loved this restaurant!! They have a pretty good selection of both chicken and beef and they have salads as well as meals. I had the marinated beef with rice and salad and it was all delicious! I love the salad dressing! Great prices. You'll be glad you stopped.

Kainoa's is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town. They have a very diverse menu but I always alternate between the same two entrees because they are so good! Each entree is served with two sides - rice and the best macaroni salad I've ever had. You can also substitute a fresh green salad with a yummy sweet dressing... More

Kainoas is a great place, take out or eat in. The food is always good and consistent. The staff is friendly and courteous, as well as informative about their dishes on the menu. Kainoas, also reminds me of Hawaii. Yes, there are food trucks and other small places that have very similar dishes. I miss the Islands, I've visit 3... More

Meals are always tasty here. I would eat here more if someone would clean the place once in awhile. The ceilings and walls and floorboards are so caked in dust and grime that it makes me wonder what the kitchen cleanliness standard is. You NEVER get greeted with a hello before you order, although they ARE very friendly it's just... More

Thank you for your review. We will use your comments for training. Our kitchen is visible from the dining area and we keep it very clean. During a rush it can get messy but never dirty because we are trying to cater to the customer and their limited time. Our average wait times are 5min or less even when we... More

Great for a quick lunch. Salads are wonderful, I love the Katsu chicken or Bulgolgi beef. The rice is just regular sticky white rice. The macaroni salad is great if you put a little pepper on it. The best part of this place is the smoothies. They are wonderful!!
