Stopped by for lunch and a drink and glad we did. Salsa was very nice, not too spicy but does have a little kick. The sea bass street tacos were about the best I've had and my wife demolished her chicken taquitos so I'm guessing they were good. I would give 5 star but paying for chips & salsa is... More

While the food was fresh and tasty, I found the loudness of the music and the constant TV screens was inappropriate for a scenic destination. Most people were in groups with friends who had to shout to have conversation.

I'm afraid this is a touristy place with below average Mexican food and a high price. It's right on the main strip through Sedona so it's convenient, especially if you are staying at Orchard Inn, but I would not eat here. The hotel is great, the restaurant is not.

Shared the appetizer sampler with my husband and was blown away--loved everything I ate! I also had prickly pear lemonade, which was delicious and refreshing. The restaurant was lovely, overall, but...the bathrooms were TRASHED. I mean, it looked like someone had just thrown a kegger with toddlers in there. TP everywhere. Wet, wadded up towels everywhere. It was a disaster.... More

Had lunch in the outdoor seating area on a gorgeous day in Sedona. Service was quick and friendly, food delicious (Enchiladas, a taco salad and nacho flight with different salsas). Most memorable though, we're the absolute best margaritas my husband and I have had. Made with Grand Marnier and cointreau, served on the rocks. Not sour or tasting like a... More

After hiking the Broken Arrow Trail we made our way to 89Agave. For an appetizer we chose a flight of guacamole which included regular and tajin dusted hot corn chips with salsa verde :blackened tomato: cactus & habanero, grilled pineapple salsa: poblano, green tomatillo and salsa reposado: tecate, tequila, roasted tomatillo & charred onion . For dinner I had the... More

Regular margarita was served in a short glass (not a margarita glass). Hard for me to tell if there was any alcohol in the margarita's. I'm assuming there was some, but I couldn't detect any.

We discovered on a Sunday night in Sedona, almost everything closes super early. We had been at the airport to watch sunset and got back to our motel and discovered 89Agave was, thankfully, still open. We walked over and had a seat in the bar area, where our pleasant server quickly got us a nice local draft beer (they had... More

The restaurant was very good. Food excellent and reasonably priced. Our waiter JOSH was the best. We were on vacation and my husband thought he lost his wedding ring in the trash in the bathroom. Josh went beyond his job description and helped him go through the trash no luck. What a nice guy!! Kudos Josh!

We had lunch here recently and the food was good, but the service was terrible. We never saw our waiter again after we got our food. No refills on drinks and it was a 98 degree day! I would not go again.
