To a local, it was obvious Mongo's was in a death spiral. The restaurant met its demise at the end of 2014 and now houses the Schoolhouse team. Like night and day.

Our first time eating in this kind of concept where you pay for a flat price to pile all the vegetables, meat, noodles into a bowl. Of course, the trick as advised by the waiter was to compress everything into the bowl. You could use...More
My wife is picky about all meats (she hates fat) so we pick our places carefully. We ate broth-type tasty soup (Kale?? Who knows. It was GREAT) while having a couple of beers one time here, and I vowed to come back, knowing she could...More
You feel special, especially when the waiter tells you to pile up your bowl and they have paper to pat down the pile. I am not suggesting to overeat, I am just saying there are so many choices of meat, sides and sauces that you...More
Living in Sedona for nearly 2 years after living in a "foodie" city, nothing in Sedona is beyond exceptional that I've experience thus far. If you're looking for a build your own stir fry or an asian influence, I would definitely say give Mongo's a...More
We went in on a Sunday night, around 7pm to celebrate my husband's birthday. First, noted there was no one else in the restaurant…Hmmm. Second, the staff was all sitting at the bar with their backs to the door…bartender had to tell them twice that...More
We haven't had Mongolian barbecue for decades, so this was a treat and a memory jogger. We ate outside by the fireplace (in October) and it was comfortable. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. The food was good and filling. We enjoyed our evening.
Went there for a quick meal not expecting much, but it was totally delicious and the staff was very friendly!
Yakisoba with chicken, broccoli, and water chestnuts generously graced with black Thai peanut sauce was delicious! The barkeep had a skilled hand at his craft. Mongolian grill is always an enjoyable experience, and Mongo's does it right, while providing a very good value.
Mongolian grill concept. And like all Mongolian grills I have been to, I am always left wondering why I went (obviously I am not a fan of Mongolian grills). Convenient to Hilton. Would not go back. Great Happy Hour deals though
