The Original Gyro is delicious. George's Famous Gyros is about 10 minutes away from Arizona State University by car.

George's Famous Gyros was always a neighborhood staple. It still is because the food is good. However if you are traveling, this is not a good place to dine-in. The air conditioning is not adequate in the hot months. It is just hot. The tables and chairs are just tables and chairs. They were not chosen for comfort. They do... More

Love the regular gyros here!! I get the salad, but have done the fries as well - really can't go wrong either way. I've also had the hummus and pita bread - they don't make the pita bread, but get it from a local bakery and heat it on the grill - it is really good!

Well where shall I begin? My son found this place on Yelp and being from New York I'd like to think I know what a good gyro consists of. This place certainly knows the recipe and better yet loads the gyro. You may need a fork, conveniently placed near drinks and free dum dum lollipops.

First time there. I had a very friendly welcome and the service and attention, considering that is a fast food, was very good. Is a small place with few table very clean and with a nit atmosphere. In the menu in the wall I noticed that they have several different type of gyros. The Greek owner is the chef and... More

I came with coworkers for lunch, the line was nearly out the door, and we waited almost an hour for our food. The food was awesome as was the waitress who was busting her butt to make sure everyone got served. I will be back!

Cheap eats and plates are jam packed full of meat. Small humble location with great food. This place is a meat lover's dream.

Georges makes wonderful gyros! The meat is perfectly spiced and the portions are big! Love their gyro platter..salad and a large serving of meat, rice or fries and pita bread. Good value.

George's Famous Gyros is situated in a small retail strip on Mckellips Rd. at Miller in Scottsdale. The restaurant had just been remodeled, which gives much more space, as well as a bright, open atmosphere. It is always busy, so be prepared if you come at lunch or dinner time for the working class. It will be jammin'. George's uses... More

This local eclectic place was just remodeled. The food is cooked from scratch, fresh to order. Lots of people eat there and even more take to go orders. Huge portions. We eat here at least once a week. Meals run $7 to $12.
