We went here for a late breakfast, early lunch because TripAdvisor said it was one of the things to do in Prescott. The restaurant sits in the general store that also serves as a bait house for fishermen. You can eat in a quaint dining room or outside at picnic tables, all of them overlooking this lake. Their claim to... More

Have dined here many times but lunch today was very disappointing. Ruben sandwich bread was burnt, German potato salad was not the same as last season, with chunks of fat from bacon in it. Brat was difficult to bite through. This was our favorite place to stop after hiking in the forest, but probably won't be stopping by again.

The restaurant is part of a cafe/grocery store/bait shop. It is only a couple of miles from town but in the middle of a national forest and overlooks beautiful pines surrounding Lynx Lake. For that reason alone it is worth visiting. The restaurant is a German/American restaurant. We came for breakfast. I'm sorry to say that the American version of... More

They specialize in German food. Open all year. Restaurant in right on the lake. See the hummingbirds in spring and summer. Decent food. Great place for lunch with out if towners.

This restaurant, located near Prescott, AZ, and overlooking Lynx Lake has new owners who are off to a good start. We've dined there several times and the service has always been personal and the food delicious. The menu choices include some German offerings to match the decor and many others. The chili burger was very tasty and served with great... More

Our least favorite part of Lynx Lake Cafe was they were open seasonally...great news...they are open year round! German food is sooo good! Great portion size and beautiful view, so we suggest making it early enough to get the full experience!

After a morning hike I stopped at the cafe. It is in a beautiful setting, lots of mountain charm, staff was nice. I sat outside at a picnic table with a view of the lake. The burger looked good so I ordered the cheeseburger. It looked great and the fries were tasty. I did not finish the burger, it just... More
