I had been here several years ago, and remembered it as pretty good. However, I went last night and was disappointed. Overall, I felt the food was mediocre, especially given the cost. The bread for our table was not fully baked through, with stretchy, uncooked dough in the middle. Our server was very good, and the atmosphere is nice. It... More

My husband and I ate dinner at this restaurant on February 16, 2017. We arrived at the restaurant about 7:30pm and were seated right away at a booth. We did not have a reservation. The restaurant had other patrons and a large group of about 40 people. Our server was good and provided good service to our table. We ordered... More

Last night my wife and I had dinner at Murphy's. We made the reservation using Open Table which is very convenient. We decided to go to Murphy's after seeing the Valentine's Day weekend specials ad in the local paper. One of those specials was Parmesan crusted escolar which my wife really enjoys. We were seated on arrival even though Murphy's... More

Beautiful historic building with lovely woodwork and bar. The food was very good, the service just OK. Nice atmosphere for a romantic dinner.

Went for drinks and dinner with friends while visiting the town. First of all we sat at the bar and Jason, the delightful and knowledgeable bartender entertained us with his local knowledge and his wonderful mixology skills. After a fun happy hour we moved to a table and ordered our meals which were tasty and reasonably priced. This place knows... More

Great service and wonderful food. The menu offers something for everyone and the dining side is quite and separated from the bar.

Murphy's is the go to place in the town. They have a happy hour and great food for lunch or dinner. There is a little upstairs area, which is cool. The place is the turn of the century era motive and everyone goes here. A must try when in Prescott.

We stopped in town for a short trip. Decided that check out Murphys. When we walked in we were amazed by the historic interior of the restaurant. It's like you went back in time. Along with the full wooden western bar. Very cool. We had a great dinner with awesome staff. I highly recommend this place the next time your... More

Gosh, screw up two Thanksgiving dinners (Seriously, cold turkey slices?) , average at best service (the server all but forgot us for dessert and the check), and a hostess with an attitude about accommodating my friend with a disability (I had a reservation, so this wasn't a difficult task). Too many other restaurants in town to have to put up... More

The historic building is well maintained and the decor is a nice mix of old world wood and standard tablecloth dining. Not a lengthy menu but well appointed. I had the ribeye steak. What arrived on my plate was what looked like a thin New York strip. No marbling, not even close to a ribeye. I will admit that it... More
