Doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside the place is bursting with energy and great food. No wait, but then we are early risers--people kept coming in not long after we were seated. The menu is extensive for breakfast--so if you are undecided--check with the staff--they won't let you make a bad choice.

Quaint little restaurant, just a short distance to downtown. The food is basic, but still enjoyed by the locals. Open for breakfast and lunch only.

Last fall I visited Prescott with the idea of retiring here and discovered the Waffle Iron. As soon as I entered I felt "at home" and, as well, I didn't feel uncomfortable dining solo. I ordered their buttermilk pancakes and orange juice. service was quick and professional and the pancakes were light and delicious. I don't drink coffee, but it... More

Just a small place but if you like waffles and pancakes, they rank up there with the best. Friendly people and fair prices.

We are relocating to this area and haven't found many good places to eat yet. While out shopping mid morning and feeling hungry we took a shot at the Waffle Iron. The menu is broad, just about everything you would want for breakfast (lunch too) can be had. I went for the corned beef hash and eggs with hash browns.... More

After reading reviews rating this restaurant from great to terrible, my wife and I had to try it out. Service: (at 11:00 AM) - we were seated within 30 seconds after entry, as were all patrons who followed until we left; waitress noticed a hair in my wife's coffee, which my wife said probably got there when she took off... Prescott has no lack of places to eat. As a tourist town, the prices are elevated and the "tourists" tend to be rude and/or unfriendly. They cannot help it as most of them seem to be from California or back east. The Waffle Iron seems not to draw those types. It's location protects it from the local west side California... More

My wife and I enjoyed breakfast at Waffle Iron several weeks ago. The food is great and service is very good. If you like lots of breakfast options to consider and enjoy, give Waffle Iron a try. I prefer the buckwheat pancakes to go along with eggs and bacon and an endless cup of coffee. It's worth stopping by as... More

We live in Prescott and the Waffle Iron is one of the best breakfast places we have eaten at anywhere. A favorite of the locals, it is charming, not fancy, the food is always fresh, no fake stuff, good service and reasonably priced. The restaurant is in a historic building, a reminder of a simpler time, with many interesting historic... More
