I have gone to Roys in many different locations and have enjoyed the experiences in the past. At this location, I found the dinner very disappointing. I had the macadamia nut mahi-Mahi , a standard classic of Roys . The fish was ordinary and the nut crusted topping was very light in comparison to other times I have enjoyed it.... More

Roy's food is always good and the ambiance is fun. If you dare, order the pineapple cake when you order dinner ( takes 20 minutes or so to prepare and it's really worth it!). This restaurant is at the JW Marriott and has tiki lamps and great outdoor tables. After dinner take a stroll around the property if you're not... More

Lovely hotel. Impeccable establishment. Excellent service with Daniel. Diverse menu. The best wedge salad I ahem ever eaten. The Roy's Trio was unique and very tasty. Everyone raved about there food. Wife loved Seafood Sampler. Delicious coffee. Lackluster Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Not a bad price for the four of us. Recommended.

We had a group dinner here for 22. The atmosphere, food and service were great! We had 4 entrees on the menu and all were really good. A lot of people had the Surf and Turf and some had the lobster. Lots of compliments on the food. Servers were very good and took really good care of us. Definitely recommend... More

We have the pleasure of eating in a number of Roy's around the country and this one rates up with the very best. Very good service. The Misoyaki Butterfish was excellent. The Shrimp Risotto was superb. We had an awesome special complimentary appetizer with some sort of Pork sausage in it. mmm mmm. All in all a very fine place... More

Roy's is a high-class chain that prides itself on providing well prepared seafood dishes, but at a price. So, save up...especially for the wine, which is unnecessarily expensive. Otherwise, the food is excellent. My guests stayed with the filets or surf & turf, which were tender and very well prepared. The "surf" shrimp were tender, juicy and nicely flavored; as... More

My wife and I dined at Roy's on a gorgeous March evening, so it was perfect for sitting outside. The outdoor area looks more like Hawaii than Phoenix with all the tiki torches and palm trees which was very pretty. The hostess was very nice and upon asking her if we could get the happy hour drink specials at our... More

The food at Roy's is always phenomenal. I had the macadamia nut crusted Mahi Mahi and my colleague had an entree that included the ahi and the butter fish. Both were fantastic. The only reason for the four stars is that our service was about a three. Waiter did not have much personality and wasn't attentive and not commensurate with... More

Had dinner here on night while staying at the resort. Seated in a booth per my OpenTable request. Service was outstanding throughout the night. We had the lobster potstickers (good) macandcheese (awful - blue cheese?) pan roasted chicken (covered in too much sauce) and the lobster CA roll (super dry, had to ask for soy sauce to moisten it up...
