I went to Dick's hideaway while in town on business. I would never have known about it if i wasn't with a few locals. It looks like a bit of a dive - but in a good kind of way. The food was excellent. Very flavorful and unique. I can't wait to return next time I'm in town.

Finding the unmarked door is its own reward. Once inside this one of a kind, all-time favorite spot, you'll find eclectic SW fare with a flair. Subdued lighting, mesquite fired grill, seasoned wait staff and Zeppelin in the air... it's the real deal. The steak, chicken, sausage and shrimp skewers are yummy!

We were in the area with a local (x college roommate,) looking for a place that was open on a late Monday night after the final four championship game. Others were closed but this was not. I was impressed with the food and the service. Kudos to Jason for keeping the kitchen open and taking care of us as if... More

There is a reason it's called a hideaway. It is hard to find but worth the search. My fiancé had the French toast and I had the eggs Benedict with the jalapeño sauce. I was worried there would be too much kick for me but it was very mild. This was the best breakfast either of us has ever had.... More

Visiting a friend in Phoenix, we went to Dick's for brunch and LOVED it. We had some of the best Bloody Mary's anywhere and they come with a shot of beer. The food, "New Mexican" style is delicious and plentiful. What a great introduction to the culinary options Phoenix has to offer!

Look for the unmarked door in the climbing vine! Sit at the bar and watch your food being prepared. Cozy, crowded, friendly, talkative atmosphere and carne adovada dishes that stimulate your salivation.

This is one of our favorite little joints. It's a tight squeeze but worth it! Food and drinks are delicious. Very casual so you can even enjoy lunch after a morning hike with going home to clean up!

The atmosphere is neat and it really is hidden in its location. Our experience would have been better maybe if we only went for drinks at the bar. The food wasn't that great and was expensive. Service was one of the worst we have ever had.

Wow, the secret location is cool all by itself. But the food here is out of this world. Great margaritas too. We especially liked the chile rellenos, skewers (the tenderloin piece is so flavorful and tender it's hard to believe), and tamales with green chile.

This is truly a hideaway. It is hard to find, hidden behind the boganvillas. If you can get it, grab any seat!! The food is AMAZING BEYOND WORDS. Try the carne! or any of the southwestern dishes. I have had them all several times over!!
