Five of us had a business dinner at Tarbell's last night and I couldn't believe the armature waiter we had... first he kept pushing us to order, then he disappeared when we were ready for wine. We ordered a bottle of red and I had a glass of white... but my glass never showed up. I kept reminding him and... More

The wine list here shows a wonderful attempt is both depth and breadth. I couldnt quite figure out how they priced it. About 50% of the list was overpriced, 25% on par, and 25% priced very well (inexpensive). The food was fine but there was a heavy dose of salt on everything. I found by the end of the meal... More

This place is soooooo good! We stumbled upon it while cruising Camelback and the Trip Advisor reviews got us in the door. Doesn't look like much from the outside and parking is a problem (use the free valet...tip em) but they are always busy and both times we went we had a great dinner. The waiter, Kieth, remembered us from... More

Be sure to have a reservation because this is a favorite for Phoenicians. The food is exquisite. Their salmon is served with a paper thin crispy potato underneath. It is beautifully plated and each dish lives up it's reputation. This is gourmet all the way!

After being a guest on this year's first episode of Check, Please AZ hosted by Mark Tarbell I knew I just had to try his restaurant and we were so glad we did. The service is friendly and professional. The food is creative and unique. Some dishes are just hearty stick-to-the ribs like my husband's choice, the Scotch Beef with... More

Tarbell's is a Phoenix legend on Camelback. We joined an out of town couple for a friend's dinner. Friend remarked that it was the best meal she had experienced in Phoenix. As they are annual snowbirds, that's quite some compliment! Service was extraordinary and attentive without being overbearing. You can't go wrong with Tarbell's!

I was looking at the trip advisor top restaurants for Phoenix, and only 1 of them is anywhere I'd go. Forget the chains! There are so many great local restauranteurs and Mark Tarbell is one of the absolute best! This restaurant is a local favorite and I dine here whenever I have guests in town. It's always fabulous and the... More

From the first bite of the wonderful garbanzos to the last spoonful of Creme Brûlée, every taste was amazing. Our waiter, Nathan, was professional and charming. Enjoy!

We fly in/out of PHX at Christmas and usually stay a couple of days to visit museums and enjoy restaurants. I don't know why it's taken me so long to discover Tarbell's, but I am so glad we did. Although the area near the bar, overlooking the kitchen, was crowded and noisy with holiday cheer, we had reservations and were... More
