Good Chinese restaurant with large portions of food in a pleasant setting. Judging from all the families this seems to be a local favorites.

I've been down in Arizona for the past two plus weeks in the scorching heat fighting wildfires. The food on the trip has been occasionally decent, but I've been lacking any real cuisine aside from good steaks and pizza. Today, on the last day of...More

A few years down the road and I work elsewhere but was I the neighborhood. Tried dining in and ordered the Mongolian Beef. Pretty much the same as last visit: good, tender, saucy entrée, decent egg roll, atrocious salad. I ordered fried rice and got...More

We had dinner, party of seven. Service staff was cold but relatively efficient. Food was pretty ok. Not spectacular. Decent amount of Szechwan peppers in dishes. Service can be improved but I don't think they care.

Service is indifferent and perfunctory. Menu has large variety of selections and a separate 'Americanized' menu (eg, chicken dishes will be all white meat while regular chinese menu includes dark meat). Cumin lamb was average; looks large because it is on a pile of shredded...More

As we were being seated the women that seated us spilled water into a plate. Instead of taking the plate he wiped it with her hand then left the plate to be eaten off. My iced tea was warm and the food was cold with...More

Very disappointing. Food was fairly tasty but cool and service was horrendous. It took 30 minutes for the waitress to take our order, another 30 minutes for the FIRST entree (twice cooked pork) to arrive, and then DH had to wait another 20 minutes before...More

We recently visited the Chinese Cultural Center in Phoenix. There are a lot of empty stores here and only a couple restaurants. There is a nice little park at the front with interpretive signs and a small lake, very nice to walk around either before...More

The offering is diverse: dim sum and family style food that is freshly made with plenty of flavor. Brown rice is not an option. Neither is substituting noodles or fried rice for rice that comes with the meal. However, it's easy to order a vegetable...More

The menu was a little overwhelming but we were the only anglo (non-asian) guests dining at the time so it must have an authentic reputation. Portions are huge and I believe any entree could easily be shared.

I didn't notice that the indicated that they didn't use MSG, so you should probably check with them at (602) 685-0888 to inquire. I am not Chinese, so I can't say whether their offerings are authentic or not, however they... More

There is absolutely no connection between what kind of oil I personally use for cooking and my review of the Szechwan Palace. Consequently I am not answering, because the question must be connected with the restaurant.
