Best Thai food I've had in the Scottsdale / Phoenix area so far. Flavors are authentic (spent two weeks touring Thailand) and delicious! There's a reason there's generally a wait to be seated for dinner! Atmosphere is so-so, but the food is definitely worth the visit. Give them a try if you haven't already!

I am working to try new things - sure, I have had Pad Thai, but not much else in the way of Thai food. I am off Mondays and Tuesdays only, and Reign of Thai is closed Mondays...so it took a few months to find someone willing to go on a Tuesday, and off of work! Of note: The restaurant... More

Hands down the BEST Thai food I have eaten. The food is very fresh and as mentioned by other reviews, spicier than "normal" so be sure to take that into account when ordering. Service is a little slow but trust me, it is well worth the wait. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Phoenix.

Love this place. For sure the best in town. The owner and his family are wonderful and the employees are always polite.

I had a bad experience at Reign of Thai. The manager would not fix a to go order where the spice level was way off. He basically just said too bad. Very rude. I used to be a regular but I won't go back.

Delicious food, service was great. Good menu and offers pictures to help choose. The servers were very attentive and helpful. I like spicy, my partner a bit less so. Our server let us know the chilies they have were hot this time as they get fresh batches regularly. So we chose one level lower than i would normally choose. It... More

Our first time here and will not be our last. Wanted to try something different for dinner and decided on this place. Wait staff was very helpful making recommendations, telling us about the spice level of the dishes. It is located next to a transmission shop and that threw us off that first, but decided to give it a go.

I've been to Thailand and this is JUST like a family restaurant there. It's neat, clean and decorated traditional Thai. Great traditional Thai foods plus some other Asian dishes to round out the menu. Vegetarian? No problem, most meat dishes can have veggie substitutes. Large servings so show up hungry ! . . . . . . FYI, a #3... More

A great restaurant attached to a transmission shop? Deceptive from outside, wonderfully decorated inside. As my wife is very familiar with, authentic Thai food. Be careful if you have sensitive stomach- though you can order to scale, I think is rather hot. Dinners are a little more pricey, large enough portions to split.

I decided to try Reign of Thai because of the good reviews. I have to say it was the worst Thai food I've ever had. It's also way overpriced. The Tom Kha soup was overpowered by the lemongrass in it. The pad see yew, rad na, and pad thai was extremely bland. There were also big clumps of noodles stuck... More
