Most expensive restaurant we have eaten in all Argentina. Seafood dish was reported as good. None of us ate King Crab and with 3 main dishes, one salad, one entree , one desert and one bottle of not expensive wine it was 1860 + 200 tip for 4 for lunch- peso. I wouldn't go back

I had king crab which was nice, but it was served with some cream and saffron risotto. It was okeish but not so special. Price on average.

Had lunch - shared a king crab soup and then king crab with spices, washed down with local beer. The crab was beautiful, full of flavour. Not surprising, given the supply of live crabs out front. Not cheap but worth it if you are after good king crab.

Food is good, but nothing special, no tasteful surprises. Service style is rather rough. Do not expect much attention. In my opinion the place is overrated. And overpriced. Can be a good place to eat fresh crab. Would not recommend for alternatives.

We entered a little late, so they served us in a bit of a rush. Nevertheless, al plates we ordered were great!, especially the ones with king crab.

We had the crab soup, crab Parmesan and Crab Cantina with shrimp and mussels. Amazing taste, right out of the tank freshness.

Our tour director recommended Freddy's. It is small with tables that can be arranged to accomodate any number, as long as there are tables to be had. The caprese salad consisted of large flavorful tomato slices and thick slices of mozarella. The king crab was flavorful and moist. My husband and i shared a paella that was juicy and full... More

We only had a few hours in Ushuaia and decided to have lunch. We saw the reviews on this restaurant and decided to try it. So glad we did. The crab is super fresh they are kept in a tank at the front of the store and taken to the kitchen when they are ready to be steamed (sounds horrible... More

It was wonderful. We opted for the crab and mussels with Parmesan sauce and yellow rice. It was so plentiful and delicious. We are planning on returning tomorrow night for the steamed fresh king crab. Everyone that ordered it was pleased with the taste and size. Well worth a visit!

We ate here the night before joining our Antarctic cruise. Despite a large tour group dining at the same time,we enjoyed our table for two and were well looked after by the staff. Our fish was fresh and well cooked and presented, and similarly priced to elsewhere in Argentina. As usual the servings were huge and we were unable to... More
