In between hikes and short backpacks we kept coming back here. Good food, friendly people, relaxed atmosphere, good place to catch up on what is happening in the world without feeling guilty about reading your phone. Contrary to other reviews, the service is not slow, they just wait until you indicate that you are ready for the bill. Nice not... More

This was our go-to spot during our week in Ushuaia, mostly for its great ambience. The place was always packed and hopping. Our first time there, someone was playing tangos on the old piano in one corner of the restaurant, which added to our great experience there. Service was sometimes on the slower side (understandable in a busy spot) but... More

We wanted to grab a quick, local beer and ended up here. Had a Cape Horn beer that was very tasty. Staff was efficient and friendly. Cute, kitchy kind of place. Did not try food, but food I saw looks decent. Desserts looked awesome. I would give it a second try.

Had lunch here - soup, empanadas, beer. Interesting place to see, food OK. Pleasant onion soup, came with bread & grated cheese, but service very poor from entry to paying the bill. Usually I believe in tipping in this culture because of wages but here I had no guilt leaving nothing.

A delightful fund in Ushuaia is this quirky cafe cum restaurant with free wifi. Inside the walls are lined with shelves of historic items from shops of old and it is much larger than it seems from the outside. The food is excellent and they have a bakery. The empanadas are good.Tarts, cakes and other desserts are irresistable. Service is... More

This place has amazing pastries! We came to relax after a hike with a beer and another time with coffee. Does take time, it's not an in and out kind of place. Very unique and chill vibes though. Also onion soup was delicious!

Quaintly decorated, nice ambiance, ok service - be prepared to flag down staff but this seems the norm here in Argentina. There was only one guy serving the entire room which he deserved kudos for. The wifi is iffy - most ppl couldn't connect while I was there. I ordered the steak and wine sauce served with the scalloped potatoe... More

I went here with the fellow traveler. We had coffee and a heart like bread (Dont know the name). I liked the coffee. This place got a really good vibe. It seems antique with a great character. As any other good cafes in Argentina this is expensive as well for food but bread products and coffee quite affordable. I liked... More

Had a late dinner, very helpful and nice service. The place is amazing Full of old and original artifacts from the early 1900s when it was Ushuaia 's general store. Very nice food, great sea food pasta and wonderful tiramisu, excellent local draft beer. go for the tasting of 3 different ones. Moderate price ,good value for money.
