Small intimate little restaurant inside a hotel, fair was good not too pricey but a greater selection would have been nice. Also, the service was friendly but a bit slow.

Based on the excellent reviews on TA we made a reservation per email for our Christmas dinner. When we arrived there, they couldn't find our reservation, but after showing their email confirmation we got a table. Next we were informed that the Christmas dinner with 3 courses will cost 90 USD/person including a bottle of wine. Quite a lot of... More

Very nice and attentive staff. Sergio helped and arranged our tours. They were just fabulous. The restaurant has a great view and is very cosy. Staff is relaxed and friendly. Meals were just deilcious! A little far from the center. This did not bother us at all.

A great meal in a small friendly restaurant. A little out of town but well worth a visit. Braised lamb is outstanding. Also lamb pie was good and desserts delicious

We're not talking world class cuisine here, but little things like fresh ingredients, salad oil that isn't stale, and availability of condiments set it apart from other places in town. The view from the second floor makes it an exceptionally pleasant place to spend a couple hours watching the sun go down as you have dinner, and the location away... More

Like others staying at Los ponchos it was great to walk to a restaurant so close to where we were staying and we loved it. The waitress (wife of owner or should I say co-owner) was a delight. Food was excellent with my partner enjoying the slow cooked Cordero and me the beef lasagne. Great view. Attached to a hotel... More

This was perfect for us -- we were wiped out from a day of hiking, and didn't want to head back into El Calafate proper, and the food was delicious (as was the wine). The lamb lasagna and the gnocchi were amazing. Definitely enjoy the wines!!

We ate here a couple of times as the first time was so good we had to go back! Wonderful hostess, beautiful view over to the lake and excellent home cooked food. The lamb lasagne and the beef were both amazing. A very lovely experience, thank you!!

My husband and I were surprised to find that the most delicious meal we had in El Calafate (and most of travel in Argentina) was in the unassuming bar/restaurant attached to our hotel. After a long day of trekking across the glacier we decided to try Quidu. We were the only two eating in the restaurant and had the whole... More
