We were advised to eat here by a local and boy, it was unbelievably good! So good that we returned two night later!! Raphael the chef is like an old friend and the best cook ever. The steak melted in our mouths and the chicken, empanadas and chorizio were equally superb. Our teenage daughter thought she was almost vegetarian ..... More

This old parrilla is great. The food is simple but exquisite. Cordially attended by 2 gentlemen that gives you a little bit of the history of the place.... including Butch Cassidy pictures

It's probably even better for dinner, but I have only had the pleasure to have lunch here so far. Twice. Both times were just excellent. The place is atmospheric and doesn't seem to have changed much in the last 100 years, all frontier-style. The service is exemplary and welcoming. You are made to feel an old friend (maybe he did... One of the original Bariloche restaurants, really authentic, great experience. Trout was perfect, as was provaleta. Buffet salad and friendly service.

This place is way under the radar and is one of my favorites in the area. I look forward to my trips to Argentina knowing that I can stop in and enjoy a great meal after a long day fly fishing. Have been coming to this restaurant for 10 plus years and it never fails to disappoint. Love the atmosphere... More

Although a bit out of town, this is a great place to eat, in a historic building. Unlimited salads, fine meats, perhaps not ideal for vegetarians. Conveniently on the main road between Bariloche and Villa La Aongostura, so a welcome break along the way. No need to book, rarely full as a bit of a drive from town, but steeped... More

El Boliche Viejo, located on Ruta 237 near the mouth of the Limay River north of Bariloche, has the warmth and charm of the original homestead house built in 1890. It is a step back in time where shelves and the walls are full of historic memorabilia. This simple charm is accompanied by a large parrilla/grill where fresh coals are... More

This place is way under the radar and is top notch. For the price, easily the best place to go for an authentic argentine BBQ. I'm from Indianapolis but my brother in law is a native from Bariloche. He says this is the best place for an ARGENITNE BBQ and I have to agree. A must for foodies who want... More

The old ranchhouse of Jared Jones, an American who was a very early settler in the area. It still keeps a frontier atmosphere!
