Jauja Restaurant and Grill is one of the oldest and most traditional restaurants in San Carlos de Bariloche, with over 30 years of uninterrupted activity. This has led them to have a very caring customer treatment and a very extensive menu, with the aim to offer variety and service, both to tourists and residents; therefore, in our menu, apart from the traditional cuts of Argentina grill and Patagonian lamb special, you will see two types of trout of the area, Chilean salmon, Spanish squid, fried calamari, shrimp and haddock Atlantic. Pasta varieties: vegetable ravioli, pumpkin or trout, sorrentinos, lasagna. Typical dishes of European cuisine cuts alternate with hunting deer and wild boar.

We dined here twice while we were in Bariloche and we were very impressed with the extensive menu and excellent wine list. The food is superb and so is the service. Highly recommended.

We had diner twice at Jauja and we did not regret it. Excellent food ( venison) and good wines. Friendly staff. Just the restaurant that you want to re-visit!

Man... it’s awful. I always request my steaks a point or two less cooked than medium... I can’t believe I’ve got such an steal in the country of one of the best meat in the world 😡 Go to the Boliche del Alberto instead. Always...More

Bife de chorizo and "cordero" plates deserve compliments. Large choice of excellent wines, with a special mention to the ones from the Salta region.

We visited twice and we likes the Cordero Empanadas and the Cordero plate, excelent both times. We recommend these plates and we will visit again. The cost is affordable with good quality.
