We had pasta at mamma mia and it was very good. Staff is also helfpul and friendly. And it was pretty cheap. Would certainly go back.

At first the name and the way the place looks suggest you are walking straight into a tourist trap. The restaurant is also at a strange location between a couple of busy roads. Still we took a chance and went for it. The place only starts to receive a lot of guest after 22.00h. There are a lot of different... More

As a local, i have dined in quite many restaurants looking for the best place to eat pasta. I have to admit I know a few spots that have a better pasta, but they are not restaurants, you can only buy them raw and cook them at home, which of course its not very convenient if you are visiting Salta... My friends and I visited Mama Mia because we wanted to enjoy some real Italian pasta. It turned out to be a tourist trap with precooked and frozen food. My ravioli with chicken and vegetables was uncooked, lacked souce and looked so pale you could brush your hair in it. But it was still the better plate. One of my... More

This was recommended by our hotel as one of the best Italian eateries in town, and only 2 blocks away. The enthusiasm of our informant was obviously not widely shared in the city, as there was only one other couple in its large shabby space when we arrived, and only two further diners arrived prior to our departure. The table... More

From the moment we arrived, our server aimed to please. He had over heard us speaking English and offered to get us English menus. He was the first server we've had in Argentina that actually asked if everything was to our liking. He was extremely attentive, not intrusive, but there when we needed him. The food was delicious and plentiful.... More

I usually not look for any italian restaurant (I have italian origina and prefer cook for myself italian stuff) when in holyday. However, this time, as it is traditional for argentinian having gnocchi each 29th of every month I wanted to honor the country visited by going to eat such a delicious thing. We went without make any reservation. In... More

Fully packed lunch spot with a large range of different pasta's. Very good prices. Bare in mind that you have to wait a bit for a table, depending what time you go for lunch.

We ordered a lot of various pasta dishes for take away and couldn't believe the quality and taste. Considering we are in Salta, we were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Service was fast and friendly and the taste to die for. Well worth it and one of the best in town.

After walking up san bernado to look over the city, i was very hungry. While working back to my hostel i stumbled across this place and decided to take a look. The waiters were very quick and most spoke english. I ordered and the food came out within 5 minutes which was very nice. The give you complimentary pizza bread... More
