I usually don't particularly care for a pasty. I find them dull and the crust unappealing like a pot pie, so I wasn't overly excited for our March 2017 visit. The parking lot was crowded for lunch, so that was a good sign. We chose a spot on the large covered patio since it was a warm day, plus the... More

We gave this restaurant a second try and weren't impressed. Granted, it was a Friday afternoon at 3:45, St. Patrick's Day no less. Even from the last visit, it looks as if it has deteriorated a bit. The walls are decorated with things that look like one went to Goodwill on half price Saturday. The women staff look as if... More

This is a busy restaurant. They serve good pasties, and have lots of different varieties. Prices are reasonable.

I have been here many times. I have always had a good experience. One time my favorite didn't taste right but my stomach was a little off so I took it home and heated it up for lunch, not good. Took it back and talked to the manager who immediately tracked down the maker , the batch and the problem.... More

The pasty crusts were nice and crispy and delicious, but we enjoyed the filling in the U.P. pasties better. The other flavors --the porky was interesting, but not as enjoyable. It seemed too mushy. Busy on a Friday night with OK service.

I always born in Escanaba, MI which is like the pasty capital! For a town of roughly 10,000 people there are 3 or 4 pasty shops. My mom made incredible pasties. Now this can't match my mom's (but no one can) however this place is just as good as any of the pasties shops in Esky. AND they have many different... More

Of course the Cornish pasties are the big attraction, and they are great, and plenty of flavors to choose from. Craft beers, decent wine list and eclectic music. Place can get a bit loud, and the wait staff looks a bit out of the ordinary, but I'm an old fart. The food is worth the trip. One of my fav's

Who doesn't love a pie filled with a meal? Flakey tender crust. Herb seasoned meat and veggie filling.
