A must visit for Mendoza. Wine cellar is incredible and the recommendation amazing at such good value too! Steak was perfect and the service was great to boot!

Azafran comes highly recommended from several sources as well as here on TripAdvisor. So we booked ahead and it was as well that we did as it was completely full (almost entirely with international tourists). So expectations were high. And it was a nice meal. But no more than nice. There was nothing that stood out or was memorable. Indeed... More

We were with a large group and the service was perfectly attentive. We enjoyed a wine-paired dinner and the food was beautiful. Portions were sized right for the number of courses. interior was nicely decorated and the wine cellar room had great atmosphere. Very good experience.

I have been coming to this restaurant when i come to Mendoza and have never been disappointed. The service is near perfect. The menu and the almacen, (food speciality shop) are something special. The menu changes 2 or 3 times a year and that keeps it interesting. The decor is eclectic but never tacky. The fixed menu for lunch is... More

With so much compliments... maybe I do not need to write anything else! Loved everything I ate ... and recommend: "Go on Azafran!" A profusion of flavors! ( One suggestion: the girl who attends could be more kind! )

For the third time coping with the poorly-signed roads of Mendoza, we gave up trying to find a destination resto in the Maipu area. There's always Sarmiento in the old city of Mendoza. For lunch on a Saturday afternoon, we found a parking place, and then Azafran just before the kitchen closed. Our English-speaking waiter, Enrique, took charge to provide... More

Great quality meal. Small food portions but nice wine pour. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. We missed dinner there twice but we did not regret our lunch.

To set a bit of context, my boyfriend and I are serious foodies. We like all kinds of foods ranging from street fare to Michelin star dining. And when we travel, we spend a significant amount of time researching where to go as we want to make the most of our time experiencing the local food scene. Needless to say,... More

This dinner was the best end to our trip. The bread, the olive oil, the wine, the meat were just the best. Attentive friendly service. Enjoyed this dining experience.

Ambience and service from staff was excellent. A few little extras which were nice, such as complementary sparkling wine on arrival, amuse bouche and cleansing sorbet. We had three courses. All of the food was well presented and most was well cooked, save for the crepe which we had for desert which was undercooked. All tasted great. Expensive for Mendoza.... More
