Spent an evening with Gonzalo in December. We came here on a recommendation from friends who came in 2014. They said it was not to be missed and they were right. Truly amazing experience where we made friends from across the globe and had some of the best food of our trip. Gonzalo was a great host! The empanadas here... More

Nevertheless, I'll try my best. I contacted the owner of Ituzaingo, Gonzalo, as I wanted to do an Argentinian cooking experience. I had no idea what I was in for. I arrived at 5pm to meet the team. Ituzaingo is a closed-door restaurant. The restaurant is Gonzalo's home, where he shares a culinary experience with those lucky enough to be... More

This was our second time to take a group of 20 to Ituzaingo for a "closed door" dinner experience. It is in a local home with a private chef and it is like visiting local friends with a great meal. We arranged fro additional wines from the UCO valley and they accommodated us. We even overpaid at the end of... More

We been there with friends. They offer a 7 dishes menu, matching them with different wines. The food is so fresh and very tasty. Gonzalo, the host, is an excellent story teller, he knows from which part of the region comes every ingredient he uses. I would definitely recommend his place.

We had an excellent dinner at Ituzaingo for NYE. The dishes were excellent and the company was even better. Gonzalo provides constant entertainment while providing great wine and great food. The steak and lasagne are not to miss. However, our favorite was the dolce de leche cheesesteak.

What a wonderful evening! The food, the wine, the hosts, and the company. Gonzales invites you into his home and treats you like family. He met us at the door and invited us to sit in his living room / restaurant, where we met other diners from around the world. The food was an amazing trip around Argentina. This is... More

There is a mysterious and magical sense to this unique dining experience. My high standards of dining excellence were well matched in both the creative and warm atmosphere, the creative and delicious courses served and the interesting and eclectic variety of people sharing the experience. Not to be missed!!!

I booked this restaurant so far in advance that I was a bit worried that Gonzalo might forget about us! He didn't and it was a lovely experience. We enjoyed meeting the diverse group of diners, the food was good, the wine was good and the atmosphere was lovely. Definitely worth trying this closed door restaurant!

Ituzaingo is a close doors restaurant in the most bohemian neigbourhood from Mendoza. The building is a loft wich shows real mendocinean lifestyle. The atmosphere is very eclectic style and combines artistic expresions (paintings and sculptures). The food is mostly tradional Argentine Cuisine in a real gourmet style. Wines are from the personal cellar of the owner (no wine list). The phrase for our concept is:¨Ituzaingo is a restaurante but still a house, welcome.
