We ate here because the lonely planet guide recommended it highly. The service was really friendly & personal & we didn't have to wait long for anything. However, the dish my partner wanted was unavailable & the only vegetarian option was a simple salad. So so.

I do not usually lunch at this place but I am a habitue for afternoon snack where they serve delicious homemade bread with milk jam o dulce de leche as we name it in argentina. As it is a typical place there are always a lot of foreign visitors and has an upper balcony to admire the sky and multicolour... More

I went to La Nieta because it was recommended by Lonely Planet and I decided not to go anymore to such places. It was a total disaster. This was so far the worst restaurant during my entire trip to Argentina. The service was bad because there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. The food I ordered was terrible,... More

I visited La Nieta twice while in Cordoba for a month. The first time was for coffee in the late afternoon. We sat outside on the upstairs deck, enjoying the weather, and the live music (guitar and clarinet). I would definitely recommend it as a place to relax for tea. The second visit was my last night in Cordoba for... More

We were up on the outdoor deck (a bit of a tough climb for seniors, btw.) and it started to rain. Our wait staff immediately and most cheerfully helped everybody move under cover. The place just came across as friendly and laid-back. The menu is small, but we three found three different pastas to delight - very tasty, though the... More

We decided to grab some coffee at La Nieta after visiting the Feria Artesanal at Guemes. It was crowded with locals and there was a local band just setting up their equipment for the night. I ordered a submarino – chocolate bar submerged in hot milk, some home made bread with dulce de leche, and marmalade. After eating all that,... More

After reading about La Nieta in a well-know travel book, I was expecting a spectacular meal of homemade local cuisine like Locros (Andean Stew) or Humitas. Neither were on the menu tonight but I felt confident I could find something else that would be Argentinian. I wasn't left with to many other options. A few pastas, pizzas, and one or... More

If you want to have a nice view, good music and great ambiance then you will love this place. I had the typical argentinian "merienda" (afternoon snack) there, the homemade bread with jelly, dulce de leche and butter is really tasty. The place is located in the bohemian sector of Cordoba and lives from the atmosphere of its surrounding. The... More

Nice little restaurant with great service, though I found my Bife de Chorizo not as tender as it should be for 60 pesos. Their dessert are quite good. Maybe slightly better than their main meals.
