This was my first experience of both an Argentine parilla and steak. I wasnt let down on either account. Set in the theatre district, it was empty when we went in for dinner at 8pm but soon picked up with a steady stream of customers,...More

Had diñner here on our first night in Argentina and it was delicious. Tiger was our waiter or perhaps guide would be a better description. He recommended the wine and helped us with our meal choices. They were both superb. We will definitely try to...More

This place was close to our hotel and had a great review. What an incredible meal. I had the Bife De Chorizo and it was cooked perfect and tasted great. I added the chimichurri sauce and it couldnt have been better. My wife had the...More

This is a traditional Buenos Aires restaurant conveniently located at just one block from Corrientes Avenue and five blocks from the Obelisco. It is going back to the 1920's but on a very well kept place. The service is excellent and the food terrific. Every...More

We went to Chiquilin as a referred customer of hotel Tango de Mayo and given a slip of paper for a free glass of bubbles while we looked over the menu. There was soo much to choose from. But I went for some old favourites...More

One thing you’ll notice when eating at parillas in Buenos Aires is that each has its own homemade chimichurri sauce. The best I’ve had since El Rincón Argentino (a New York restaurant that closed decades ago) is here at Chiquin. Of course, there’s more to...More

Our hotel recommend this restaurant and it was the best steak we had on our trip! The waiter was helpful and attentive. His wine suggestion was perfect. Not being a steak lover I ordered pasta which was good but the steak stole the show and...More

A bit out of the way, we found this on our last day; wish we’d discovered it earlier. Classic old-fashioned restaurant full of locals and apparently regulars - and not surprisingly, the food was superb. One of best steaks I’ve ever had, and even the...More

We ate here two times, and both times we had great service and very good food. We had two of their salads, one with arugula and watercress and another with pumpkin, dried tomatoes, olives and cheese – the salads were huge. We also tried the...More

The food is of good quality. Prices are reasonable. But the service leaves a bitter taste. The waiter (Oscar) was not friendly. Stick to basics, little concern for timings. My meal took 1 hour to arrive.

I was there a few months ago & pretty expensive - well for me. It was like $25 for a ribeye steak, $25 for a bottle of wine. Didn't do any deserts. Argentina has gotten sooo expensive the last 2 years it is crazy
