Akk so much cheese. Our porteño friend recommended the Güerrin with its long proud history very much; we tried it, found the ambience olde world comfortable and pleasant, and almost choked on the sheer incredible amount if cheese they put on their special pizzas.

Highly praised by our host ("better than any pizza in Rome!") we went here for our first dinner in BA, far too early for the chaos, noise and confusion some other reviewers report. But yes we can imagine when it gets busy! Three floors, tiles on the floor and the walls, a place frequented by many families: it will get... More

This Family run pizzeria has been a fixture in Buenos Aires for 85 years. The lines of people waiting to enter attest to its fame. Wide, wide variety of pizza by the pie or slice. Just amazing, delicious pizza

We heard over and over that going to "Guerrin" was an experience! Indeed it was. In the theater district of Buenos Aires, close by the Obelisco is one of their restaurant; it's a chain. A mob scene, Argentinians as well as tourist. We did manage to get a table on the main floor, I believe there were three glorious. The... More

VERY busy place but you can feel the tradition. Huge list of pizza though they are not trying to make them fancy. Pizza are simple but good. Make sure you check around you the size of the pizza as you might have a surprise (a BIG one) when it comes to your table. If you are allone, a couple of... More

I had already heard about this place a dozen times from my friends here, had to try it out. Went on Friday afternoon. The place was crowded, as expected. You can choose between taking a slice of pizza and sitting on one of the high tables in the front area, or have a proper sit down meal with a server.... More

I have eaten pizza all over the world. I love the pizza in Argentina and typically consider it wonderful. On our last visit to Buenos Aires when our taxi driver suggested we try Guerrin and told us it was the best in BA, I was skeptical. However, one bite changed my opinion! We had the cheese pizza (for the 7-year-old)... More

The location is central and also has some history behind it. Three floors as dining room, full of people, families, noise and confusion, so very difficult for us to enjoy a pizza in peace. Tables too close and service a little rushed. Bathroom poorly mantained. Pizza is fairly good, rich, different varieties and tickness, different from what an Italian food... More

If you want to try a really Argentinian style pizza, then you have to come to Guerrin. It is within meters from the Obelisc and the pizzas are great!
