Why five stars? Because the food was good, the prices were very reasonable, the service was fast. And that's not always true with kosher restaurants.

Good variety of kosher dishes. If the restaurant is full (which is likely), it takes approximately 20 minutes to receive the meals after ordering. Service is good, one can speak Spanish, English or Hebrew to the staff.

We had a lunch of hamburgers and pastrami. Nothing fancy but quite tasty. Just wish they would take credit cards for convenience. This is a common theme amongst the kosher restaurants I visited. Just be prepared in advance.

The atmosphere was ok, restaurant was clean and food looked good. We ordered a Schwarma plate to share. However, when my husband requested pure( mashed potatoes) in place of French fries( papa fritos) the waiter said no exchange of side dish was permitted. We needed...this switch for health reasons, so my husband spoke to the owner. He refused at first, when my husband said we would go eat elsewhere, at first the owner said we should. Then he relented, but they acted like we had committed a crime! I enjoyed the meal, thought sides were very good, schwarma not that good. Another issue I had is you have to walk down a flight of steps to get to the bathroom. This is not uncommon in Argentina. Since there are other kosher meat options, we do not plan on returning to this restaurant.More

Daytime deli, highly recommended for those who love pastrami, and other related dishes. The only critic I have is that they should clean around more, example floors, etc. The food appeared neatly, I am talking about floors and tables

Good place for a stop for a kosher meal while in Buenos Aires. Good service and decent selection. No English menus available.

I was searching for a unique place for a lunchtime meal and ran across this Jewish sandwich shop. You will find a nice array of options and an even better amount of additions such as hummus, tabouleh, etc. It is available for carry out or...to dine in. The people here were very nice. The man (possibly the owner) making our sandwiches spoke English. Maybe a bit expensive but everything was of high quality.More

The food was good (nice empanadas, good steak), and service was good. However, red wine should not be fizzy.

Best kosher steak I had in Buenos Aires (much better than Asian, although I didnt go to El Galope) and it was only $12 Australian! Chips and salad included - the plate was enormous. Came here twice more. They don't speak English here, but have...English menus and one young guy speaks Hebrew if that helps you. Argentinians don't use tomato sauce so I have no idea what they gave me when I asked for it, but it was gross. Go here! Yes it's takeaway style food but there's a great selection, food is delish and cheap for tourists and the decor is nice and modern so you feel human after traveling South America like a slob for a month.More

For some reason my husband wanted pastrami sandwich in Bueno Aires the steak Capitol of the world. So Ajim claims to be an international deli, whatever that means. We are kosher so that narrows the playing field. Anyways the place is packed with locals. We...had to wait for a table. My husband ordered pastrami. I wanted a steak. I asked the waiter for the best steak and medium rare. The pastrami comes on a baguette and tastes like brisket but my husband likes it. My steak comes well done and very dry. The waiter tells me this cut of steak can't be done medium rare. I call over the owner and he tells me he'll redo it. A new steak comes, which I believe is a very inferior cut. And it's well done again. The owner tells me the kosher supervisor cooked it and it must be well done due to kosher stringencies. Last night across the street at El Galope I had a kosher medium rare steak that was delicious . So in conclusion, if you're American and kosher, you can do better. We know what pastrami is and we know you can get medium rare kosher steaks.More
