We had a couple of hours transiting in BA, and decided to head here for dinner. The gentleman (owner?) welcomed us weary travelers, and although he didn't speak much English, explained the menu and tapas combination options. The complimentary charcuterie was delicious, as was every small plate. The empanada was especially tasty.

Stopped in on a recent Saturday afternoon with a light drizzle of rain outside. Only one other table was taken by a family. Very helpful and friendly woman serving us. Made suggestions on how much to order. We were thinking we wanted sangria and she insisted we get it. You should do the same! It's fantastic. Not cloyingly sweet. Simply... More

Don't be fooled by the humble appearance of this restaurant. It's very simple and small, but serves terrific tapas. Like other reviewers, we asked the server to recommend his favourites, and we enjoyed everything he brought. A good choice for a night out in Palermo.

This restaurant is pretty special. Aesthetically its minimally, super stylish and the food was such a delightful surprise. Thankfully the server spoke English so it made it easier for us.... In the end, we just asked the server the best things to order on the menu. We were going to order more items (since our eyes were bigger than our... More

Great service and a very reasonable price. Make a combination of several menu items (let the expert waitress guide you) and you can't go far wrong. Very enjoyable and authentic. Good spot. Meal for 2 with drinks (wine and beers) cost us 300 pesos. Good eclectic decor.

You would come here again and again for the delightful service provided by the waitress. What a sweetie! The take on tapas was interesting and the interior matches beautifully with the Manuela Malasania story. One or two blocks away from Plaza Armenia but felt a world away. Check it out!

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
