My wife and I were tired of beef, beef, beef and were happy to stumble upon this small Sushi restaurant. We had been craving some good Asian food, but had some difficulty finding it. We went out on a Sunday walk through Palermo and found not only Sushi, but a Thai place and an Indian restaurant. The Sushi place is... More

Like other reviewers, I stumbled upon this resturant. It was such a nice departure from all the heavy asados and other food we had been eating on our vacation. The sushi we tried had unique flavor combinations that I had never seen in sushi before, like one roll had sun dried tomatoes, and another guacamole. They staff was great, and... More

We just happened upon this place because we were staying in Palermo. It does not have many tables, but it does have a wonderful ambiance and good food. You will not regret going to this sweet spot.

Really small spot, but really nice atmosphere and good food! Definitely had a New York feel to it as it had only a few tables and a more intimate atmosphere. The sushi servings were generous and tasted super fresh. Their location is great, basically walking distance from my hotel as well as a bunch of other stuff like bars, cafes,... More

Kaizen is a small restaurant with less than 10 tables. Since we were going to be a group I made a prior reservation and we were given the big comfortable Japanese style table in the back which included pillows on the seats. There was only 1 waiter for all the tables but he managed them well and always treated us... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
