Sometimes, in Palermo Buenos Aires, is all about ambiance. But in UniK, they combine cool ambiance and good food. Everything is about details, the utensils, the glasses and the decoration. They have a wonderful wine selection at appropriate temperature. This is a must for a good table. I suggest that they need bigger wine glasses to pour that excellent liquid,... More

The place is almost invisible from the street due to its tinted bow-windows and when you're in, you wonder if it was a good choice because of the trendy decor, but in fact the whole atmosphere is quite nice and relaxed, and the food is truly good, even with some surprising dishes. Service is rather professional and relatively efficient but... More

Upscale, but hip, atmosphere in Soho, with excellent food. The service may have been slow, par for the course in BA, but the food was fabulous! I had a great poached egg dish and sea bass dish with a strong dessert finish. Couldn't have been more pleased with the meal in this cool/trendy restaurant. After hearing many stories about the... We went there for our last dinner in Buenos Aires (and Argentina) tonight and we had a great time. The dishes were tasty and creative, which is not that common in Argentina and even in the capital federal. This is not just about meat and chimichurri. We had deer tartar (very well seasoned and presented) and artichoke/fava beans salad (too... More

From the moment we arrived we were continuously impressed! The staff were very friendly. Loved the personal touch of the head chef explaining the menu and choices available. The food was excellently presented. It was full of flavour. Definitely recommend a visit!

I had dinner here in September and it was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. I don't eat meat (very strange I know for someone visiting Argentina) and the restaurant had run out of the fish entree, so I asked the waiter for some suggestions. He brought the chef to my table. The chef mentioned that there was... More

A stylish and modern restaurant in all respects. Unusual combinations takes on ingredients (such as smoked prawns, slow cooked smoked egg, goats cheese ice cream!) all executed very precisely. The biggest problem we had was how to choose just one dish from such an exciting menu! The interior design was as sharp as the cooking, with a futuristic/retro modernist style.... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
