Good food, reasonable prices, and excellent service. It does get busy in the evenings so go around 8 if you want a table. They make their own pizzas as well in what seems to be a brick-fired oven though I can't vouch for the taste since we didn't try any.

I am a Los Inmortales' fan, definitely. Each time I come to Buenos Aires, I pay a visit to this restaurant and enjoy one of the few places on earth (all in Buenos Aires) that make a pizza better than I do ;-) I must say though that this time I was a little bit disappointed not by the pizza,... Very good pizza for a good price. A medium size is ok for two people .They have also good wines and beers. We enjoyed the "mista" taste that is alichi with cheese. Very good. For the desert I suggest the "almendrado" that is a slice of ice cream pie very tastefull.

Los Immortales has ,by far, the best steak around. The Bife Lomo has no fat and is cooked exactly the way you like it. The service is excellent and the menu extensive. The inside is very well laid out and, having eaten there many times over 5 years have experienced the same quality each time. You can even eat outside... More

The food was essentially Denny's coffee shop quality. Nothing to write home about. Service was typical tourist spot service. The restaurant's location however, is ideal for late-night people watching along the Peatonal LaValle....

We came for a late night pizza after a family party. The joint was jumping. Service was great. Those of us who ordered fugazetta were very happy.

Pizza is a serious matter in Argentina. It would not be excessive to say that it is more popular than in Italy, and if you ask three portenos about their favourite pizza place they ll give you three different answers. This place is a favourite of mine. It is a chain now, it started downtown, in Corrientes Avenue, visited by... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
