After almost 3 weeks in Argentina, we were looking for something different than Parilla and that Asian restaurant was the perfect choice! The food was absolutely amazing, very tasty, perfectly cooked and the waiters were all really friendly. You can watch the kitchen crew prepare all the dishes which makes it quite special. We ordered two small dishes as a... More

Dinner was excelent. There are several "small dishes"/starters to chose from and instead of a main dish you can have several of them, asian style. The ones I had were very different one from the other and both very tasty and interesting. Nice wine list and do not miss the desert. You can make an on line reservation in their... More

A very nice taste of Asia in Buenos Aires; the detailed decoration is only match to the beautiful way all the dishes are presented. The waitress are very knowledgeable about the different dishes, their ingredients and the level of spiciness. The "spicy" level is Asian way, not the Argentinian way where there is not really much of spicy food. Nice... More

This was just the break from steak we needed! The food here is really delicious - we have the pork buns (some of the best I have ever had), spicy shrimp salad and then I got the fish (to die for) and my mom the glass noodles (yum!). The service was great - they were very welcoming - and overall... More

Buenos Aires is so full of restaurants that it’s difficult to choose when you’re going out, but the diversity of the offer is for to be on par with the quantity… you want parilla, no problem, you want pastas, no problem… but if you want anything else, and especially anything exotic, big problem! There are only a few Asian restaurants... More

The place is nicely decorated with two different settings each at one end. We went there for dinner and expected something spectacular given the price of the food. First, there wasn't any welcoming appetizer (pan, cucumbers, etc..). Second, the drinks were VERY limited; two to be exact. Food was really good to be honest, but the quantity was disappointing. The... More

We decided to visit Sunae Asian cuisine after reading many great reviews. Nice location in trendy Palermo Hollywood gastronomic area. Friendly staff, always eager to help with dishes descriptions. Short but excellent wine list, with well selected, non habitual labels. We shared a fresh sea food salad and then order some spicy chicken and pork. Both were well done and... More

Fantastic dinner based on steam cooked bread sandwiches, greeen mango salad with seafood and pho. Everything was cooked to perfection, and service was also very nice.

As a vegetarian form NYC who loves spicy food living in Buenos Aires has been a bit of a challenge. Sunae is a great find. Sunae offers a vegetarian menu along with their regular menu. Food was flavorful and spicy (upon request) . Great service

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
