You can find empanadas everywhere in Buenos Aires, and during my recent stay I tasted dozens of them. I found that the empanadas from Genova were the best: huge, cheap and delicious. The place is nothing to write home about, but the empanadas were excellent.

During our stay in Buenos Aires, we ate in Genova at least three times. We always ordered some slices of their delicious pizza. Their pizzas are thick but very tasty! Great spot in Buenos Aires!

I know they are not the best of the best but they are tasty and cheap. We liked them. It was what we were looking for. We tried meat, chicken, cheese & onion. If you want to eat some empanadas that is a good and cheap place to go for it.

Nice place.. Pizza is amazing as usual in all of the pizzerias in Av. Corrientes.. This place also is great.. 17 pesos for a portion of Muzzarella and it's worth it.. A full glass of Mendoza wine for 28 pesos, OK I guess.. Still worth a visit.. :-)

Wandered into this place for lunch and happy we did. The ham and cheese pizza with a glass of red wine was a perfect restorative after a long flight and the price can't be beat.

When I studied abroad in Buenos Aires, this was the place we always went for a quick lunch. Their empanadas were my favorite, very fresh!

We hopped off the bus tour for some late lunch and discovered this gem hiding in plain sight. South America is not a bastion of great pizza but Pizzeria Genova breaks that stereotype with some of the best pizza south of the US. The first bite confirms their recognition as one of the top five pizzerias in Argentina. Look no... More

We finished a tour on a Sunday and this was one of the few open restaurants. Staff was friendly and were patient with our lack of Spanish. Pizza variety was good but only an average pie when compared to other locations we sampled. Crust lacked in texture and cheese was plentiful but not very flavorful..
