Wonderful service, and the food was very good. They even covered a leather jacket on a chair with a table cloth to protect. The young English speaking waiter was charming and attentive

Nice restaurant with a friendly staff. The beef was well prepared and tasted delicious. One advice is to check the cooking level of meat twice with the waiter. Medium raw might be a bit more well done than usually. The mousse of dulce de leche was amazing! This restaurant is a must-be while visiting the neighbourhood.

After walking around for a while looking for a restaurant, this looked to be the best choice. It is in the theatre district downtown. The area has degraded over the years but you can tell that at one time it was nice. Same goes for the restaurant. I ordered stuffed shells with a tomato cream sauce. Nit much effort was... More

Las Canas is on the edge of the theatre district in Buenos Aires. I found it on TripAdvisor and was not disappointed! They serve pasta, seafood and steak. On the advice of Diego I chose a pasta dish that was superb, assisted by a lovely Argentinean Malbec it made a very complete meal. Nice ambience, very reasonable prices and excellent... More

I do not recommend this restaurant. I am surprised by the positive reviews. The pasta was overcooked. The beef was tasteless and small portion. Wines are way overpriced. The service was average. I think you get much better deals in other places lije Restaurant Lalo next to this one. Avoid!

The Canas restaurant in Buenos-Aires is a must-go in my opinion. Well liked by locals as well as travelers it offers a large menu of delicious meals. Salads to pasta, to Argentinian meat, fish, seafood, and a very nice list of wines. I recommend the Benjamin Malbec on this one, never you get disappointed when it comes to Malbec. The... More

Went here on our last evening in BA - very pretty restaurant with nice interieurs. The food was very good - they even used a different frying oil for my french fries (glutenintolerance). Our waiter Diego was very friendly and attentive. We will come back next time!

Stopped by for lunch without reading TA first. Waiters were exceedingly friendly and helpful, bread, delicious herb butter and drinks came quickly. They carefully explained the price fixe menu and it saved us money. We both had great pastas, and the three levels of the restaurant were bright, airy and charming.
