My girlfriend and I enjoyed a lunchtime meal at this very quaint cafe/restaurant. The staff were thoroughly pleasant and some spoke good English which given our Spanish shortcomings, was very helpful. We did both feel that although the dishes we tried were both exceptionally healthy, we feel that this compromised somewhat on the flavour of the dishes. We had the... More

I went with my girlfriend and we really loved te ambient. Its such a beautiful space and the service is very friendly and helpful. The dish of the day was a falafel with all kinds of vegetables in it (dont ask me which) and we also ordered the vietnamita soup. Both where excellent and we will defintely go back again... More

Bio Solo Organico is a charming and friendly organic restaurant. the food and drinks are delicious. We enjoyed a great lunch - I had the daily special - fabulous quinoa blinis with salad and green sides - excellent. We also had a great salad. As I avoid gluten, this was a fantastic choice - lots of great options. The bread... More

We were really craving a late evening nice bowl of soup so decided to try this attractive nearby option. Pumpkin soup! Lovely, we thought. What we received was a watery and tasteless bowl of nothing for $10CAD plus tasty bread for another $2.50. Shame! Just because it's wholesome doesn't mean it can't be rich and flavourful! There are so many... More

This small vegetarian restaurant offers high-concept food prepared in healthy, and sometimes trendy, ways. Our table enjoyed almost all of the dishes. I personally thought that sometimes the concepts got in the way of the food, but the other three people I was with enjoyed their dishes. A quinoa risotto was tasty, although don't expect it to be creamy the... More

Love this place! Everything on the menu is amazing - even the organic wine. If you sit outside, you may not get the most expedite service.

I was grateful to have a source of protein on my travels that was more than cheese. But my dish was so, so healthy. I don't know a better way to say that. I enjoyed each bite but it wasn't exactly satisfying. I'd still go back. But follow it with a fatty dessert. :) The wine was exquisite.

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
