The fanciest restaurant in the area) The prices are higher than average, but the food is extremely tasty. Also you’re lucky if there’s live jazz piano music evening. Must visit, if you’re in Candidasa.)

A place not to be missed when in Candidasa

An amazing evening out with great Jazz and soulful food? Book a table at Vincent since space is limited at their Jazz nights. We and our friends loved their good service, the vibrant music and mouthwatering food. Will be back!!

The Best restaurant by far in Candidasa Bali

We were a group of 12 up for Christmas holiday and find this five star restaurant. What a surprise! The food was all amazing despite the flu pandemic the food came quickly and was served up by a some really professional staff. I'm coming back for sure. Price was good also.

The delicious sounds of jazz & the jungle

A gorgeous restaurant in the small town of Candidasa on Bali’s east coast. Monday & Thursday nights are live jazz music; we dine at the start of the week and are greeted warmly on the street and shown to our table outside under the gently swaying palms and stars above. Candlelit table is your choice inside or alfresco… we choose outside and start with a pre-dinner cocktail, which like all cocktails from our experiences in Bali is delicious & strong! We share starters of cheese croquet and mushroom crostini, which are both crunchy, delicious and are accompanied with fresh salad leaves & edible flowers. For our mains we take the advantage on the good price for steak and have the beef tenderloin, which is a perfectly cooked medium rare, served with fries and veggies with garlic butter for him and mushroom sauce for me. Paired with a bottle of NZ Pinot Gris, we are delightfully full and enjoy chatting with our lovely waiter Kadek and relaxing as the sounds of jazz piano and nighttime jungle echo around us. Highly recommended.

Old fashioned perfect!

Vincent's is one of these places where they make it all good! No short cuts, no lazy packs, no "I don't care". The COVID-19 protocol they fulfill with grace and humor, the ambiance is little bit old fashioned but good. We ate in the garden with nice lamps, view of the stars and refreshing evening breeze. The food is cooked perfect and the portions are generous, served with a smile. Vincent's is one of theses restaurants you would sit in your car in Denpasar and drive to Candi Dasa specially to enjoy the food there! Thank you for having us; we will come again! (sorry I made no pictures it was already dark!)

Disappointing last dinner in Candidasa

We were told this was the best restaurant in Candidasa. It looked lovely and certainly was classy but the whole experience was disappointing. The service was initially pleasant. Our drinks were served quickly and entree within a reasonable timeframe but our main meal took ages ( while we watched others being served who had order such later than us). However, we decided it gave us time to chat 😁. I ordered the ginger and garlic pork chop: average at best, little flavour and I could have had this at a local pub. My partner ordered Mee Goreng: the local warran was much tastier and certainly less expensive. We didn’t mind the prices if it had met its reputation. Much preferred Lu Putu and Le Zak hands down.

THE restaurant in Candidasa

We went to Vincent's Restaurant the first evening after we arrived in Candidasa. The staff wore masks and were very attentive. Our table was in the garden so comfortable and beautiful. We ordered Gambas al Ajillo, King Prawns and Deep-fried camembert cheese with cranberry sauce. It was superb and delicious. We were impressed with their quality of food and service. It is an oasis in the middle of dark and quiet Candidasa during covid time. Btw, staff said they have live jazz every Friday night.

Chef should change his job

Really bad experience. Chef doesn’t allowed any requests for kids and request for pregnant lady. Food was not good. Not tasty. Not good. And the worth was that both dessert were a problem. Cream brûlée over cooked and the ice cream was out of date. Dragon fruit ice cream that we ordered for the kids was already out of date and toxic. The chef replied that he knew that it was old but served it anyway without trying and tasting it. Dangerous and non professional at all.

Vincents A Place To Enjoy Good Company Over Dinner.

There are restaraunts and there are restaraunts then there is Vincents at Candidasa. From your arrival to your departure, entrees to mains and on to desserts, the first cold drink to a wine or two finished off with coffee this place simply does not fail. The owners, management and team are to be congratulated and in these trying times if a place is busy they must be doing something right. Please make time to wine and dine at Vincents and stay a night or two here in Candidasa. You will not be disappointed. We certainly were not!

Good Food Takes Time.

We had a delightful dinner last Saturday with four good friends. Although the restaraunt was busy and in these quiet times its hard to prepare oneself for a one off busy night we really did not wait long for food. The owner was concerned but we all know quality food takes time anyhow. If in Candidasa make sure you dine at Vincents. You will not be disappointed. Oh those gardens at Vincents just adds to the atmosphere and we all know atmosphere does improve food in its own way.

Tasty food, Amazing live jazz music

Vincent’s restaurant is located in the peaceful local village Candidasa. I really like this area, peaceful atmosphere with local influences that show the local charactore of Karangasem district. You could choose varieties of an international menu, from balinese food, casual european dishes, French, greek and italian food. The food is tasty, but one thing that I like more is..jazz live music! I miss listen to live jazz music over dinner with wine and could smoke my cigar, lovely! The music at Vincent’s is lazy jazz music. All around Bali you will hear music from the seventies and eighties and especially Bob Marley’s “No woman, no cry”! Over all, Vincent's restaurant is a place that you must stop by, eat and listen to live jazz music. enjoy!

An Old Favorite Restaurant in Candi Dasa

We are a family with two kids and spent last weekend in Candi Dasa. I've been going to "Vincent" whenever I was in Candi Dasa since they opened about 15 to 20 years ago. We sat in one of the gazebos in the garden, which has a nice atmosphere. Service is very friendly and attentive. We had Tuna Tartar, Lumpia, and Goat cheese Souffle for starters. For mains we had Tenderloin Steak (Kid No.1, loved it), Tuna Steak (Kid No. 2, Loved it), Honey Glazed Duck Leg, and the daily special which was Sea Bass. The food was very good and nicely presented. They have a good selection of reasonably priced cocktails. All in all a great evening out. I'm sure I'll visit again when in Candi Dasa.

A real stand out gem in East Bali!

A real stand out gem in East Bali. Great food, fabulous ambiance and extremely helpful and sincere staff. We had been to Vincent’s in 2019 and really enjoyed our experience and were not disappointed last night even in these uncertain covid times. The menu had plenty of choice, cocktails were delicious and our picky 4yr old was catered to without any fuss. Highly recommend to anyone in the area and congrats to the management and staff for remaining open. 🙏🏽

Great Restaurant Bar with Jazz Vibe

We loved it. Sophisticated. Grand piano playing jazz songs while dining, great bar and decor. The Candle Lit Garden out the rear of the bar is a great romantic and chilled atmosphere. Monday night's listen to Dodot play his melodic jazz piano and Thursday night's see a live jazz band. Food was amazing, drinks a little pricey, but overall we loved our experience. If you see Taleman, tell him we said G'day. He's the 2IC and a great guy. Thanks again. Marcus & Yvette

See You Again Sooner Than Later Vincents.

Candidasa and its Environs in East Bali have many restaraunts and accommodation that would match the Best of the Best in Bali. Surely one of the restaraunts is Vincents. I do not think we have ever experienced a bad night here except a couple of minor don't have sorry. Well tonight Vincents excelled. From Entrees of Garlic Prawns to Duck Pate to Chicken Liver to Heart of Palm the night started off brilliantly. Main courses of Mushroom Wellinton to Mackerel to Salmon to Fried Camembert all of these were more than great. We could not resist the amazing Le Citron dessert and the Creme Brulee to finish off an amazing night and certainly perfection had reached its peak. In closing service was first class and the drinks were cold and if anyone ever says to you Vincents is expensive. Think Again. It represents great value for quality dining. See you again sooner than later Vincents.
