This restaurant is truly outstanding. From the minute you drive up the long and winding drive you know you're in for something special. We started with drinks on the terrace with a view of the mountains and the sun setting. The restaurant is large with high ceilings, nice lighting and a huge fireplace. The choice of food is not huge... More

Just like a Michelin star restaurant, but with poorer food. Very nice restaurant area, but fawning staff. If you like popcorn with fillet steak, it's the place to go, but expect more of the former than the latter. Obviously many people do as this restaurant is always busy and if you plan to visit, book weeks in advance.

What an amazing place never to be forgotten. Spectacular views, great art works, beautiful surroundings. The food was beautifully presented . We sat outside and marvelled at the view of mountains while eating delicious food. Then wandered the grounds looking at paintings and sculpture and thinking this has to be a champagne moment of our trip to South Africa.

We were very fortunate to get a booking(well in advance) for lunch & how splendid it all was. The amazing venue, the superb outside dining facilities, the incredible food & wine. And brilliant atmosphere which is unusual at lunchtime . Excellent staff & just a thoroughly enjoyable two or three hours. We cannot wait to return on our next visit... More

This is a Truly wonderful place to go for lunch. We turned up without a booking and they fitted us in which was marvelous. Service is exceptional. Views are the reason to go. On the food front.. It's certainly good but not really up there with the best. The steak was not the best quality and the caesar salad sauce... More

Premium eatery with wonderful views. Good for lunch but you must book. Be aware I was placed on the wait list and not contacted. On arriving at the restaurant we were offered a table for four. They could explain why there were so many tables available and no call back. Fantastic food but loud background music which was spoiling the... More

Nearly impossible to get a table here even when trying to book several weeks ahead, so we were lucky to get a cancellation at lunchtime. After a must do wine tasting in perfect surroundings, a leisurely lunch on a glorious terrace under giant oak trees is simply magical. The dishes match the luxurious surroundings, so everything was perfectly cooked and... More

Do yourself a favour and book a table here for lunch. We were sat with unobstructed views of the mountains and vineyards on a perfect sunny day. Service is attentive and not at all pretentious, despite the grandeur of the Delaire Estate. We had 2 Insta worthy and delicious courses and wine for lunch and found it reasonably priced for...
