i am talking about the restaurant nice position place both inside and outside , nice vibe, smiling waiters. but the flat bred middle eastern style was really nothing special and the coffee was quite poor. the dessert was nice . i do not think that i will be back

My friend and I met for an early week day dinner, the restaurant was humming with very friendly and efficient staff. We shared the garlic flat bread and chicken and avo salad, was just the right portion to share and was delicious. We will be back for more.

We stopped at Sotano for breakfast after the Cape Town Cycle Tour had been cancelled. The restaurant was absolutely packed full with cyclists who had pretty much all arrived at once. They managed very well given the rush, bringing out our coffee and food within a fairly short time period. The cappuccinos were excellent, which is difficult to achieve considering... More

We went there for breakfast on a sunny Saturday morning. It is a very chilled spot to have a meal , especially when sitting outside. They are pet friendly, which is excellent for dog lovers. Overall ok, breakfast was cold but still nice. Had many people serving us, it was full at the time so I suppose that's why.. Waiter... More

Wonderful find away from the touristy V&A. Tapas, lamb burger and fish and chips all thoroughly enjoyed over a couple of visits. Sunday night live music very chilled.

Loved this place, quirky and homely. Excellent food and service. Always a good sign when all the locals come in too.

The Wednesday night burger special (2 burgers for less than R100) is incredible value for money. It offsets the cost of one of their interesting craft beers, which is also recommendable. I will certainly be back.

I ordered the Tuna which was raved about but was left disappointed. It was not inexpensive and i was left with the feeling that i had much better at cheaper establishments. It wasn't bad just not dealt with in a way that made you feel the chef was passionate for the food. The service could be better -its all a... More

Good place for drinks but not for dinner. I Had the Espetada which was quite ordinary and had little flavor. My Partner had the lamb burger which was also quite tasteless and the bun was stale. Sotana is Better suited as a drinks only place.

My partner and I went for dinner at Sotano. We had the calamari tube starter and lamb burger. Both decently priced, good portion size, fresh and yummy. Service was friendly and efficient.
