We went for a late dinner and the food was very good. We had the carrot & ginger soup , chicken breast & the rib eye burger. All the food & service was great and will return. Good selection of wine as well .

We were here earlier this year and had a very good meal. This time we were disappointed, both by the service as well as the quality of the food. Starters were okay, although I could not taste any truffle oil in the soup, main course fish was a bit small. Fish was between a heap of rucola and some broccoli... More

Glad we booked as all the tables were reserved and people were being turned away as the only seating was the bar overlooking the street. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, but service was a little slow at times. Bizarrely given three slices of bread for two people... either give two or four. Food was well presented and really tasty,... More

There were four of us and we were served by a wonderful server full of enthusiasm and who had a new baby so we had many chuckles with him. The food was all excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed. This is not exceptional fine dining but certainly an above average bistro. Their desserts are exceptional however! I would absolutely go... More

Very nice place, cozy, modern, nice design. Located on upper Kloof, nice neighborhood. Friendly staff. Sometimes a bit slow but ok. Food is good, to highlight is the beef, really very good meat quality. Also good is the rocket salad. They are well known for their breakfast! But also good for lunch or dinner in a casual setting!

Wanna go for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. This is an excellent place to go in town. from traditional to more health conscious. Its all there and with a smile. but better call and book as it is busy.

Popped in for a quick bite before 12. Most delicious Caesar salad with chicken. Right amount of dressing and presented perfectly. The coffee was 100%. Service great other than waiting for the bill. Standard good food

Were greeted by the amazing Deon at the door and treated like royalty all night. The smells of food coming from this kitchen all night were amazing, our only wish is that we didn't have a big lunch so could have eaten more. We shared beef carpaccio for starter, exceptional filet of steak and the eggplant parmigiana (odd veggie choice... More

Four of us ate here on a Saturday evening on the recommendation of our guest house. Some of our party had decent meals, but I had very poor over-cooked mussels, which I also don't think were fresh that day. The restaurant was busy and the decor shabby chic. The service, although informal was nevertheless pretentious, going into long descriptions of... More

Dear Peter B. Thank you for your feedback, i am sorry you found your mussels to be overcooked, i wish you had told the manager when she came to check on your table's satisfaction so she could have asked the kitchen to cook another portion for you. We receive 5kg of mussels everyday and 10kg on Saturday, the mussels served... More

We ate at Manna Epicure on the first night of our honeymoon in October 2016, just after a full day of travel. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, giving the feeling of eating in a friend's house. The food was delicious with generous portions. Would definitely recommend stopping into the quiet spot.
