This is a great spot to spend a warm evening outside. In real bistro fashion, the menu is short and the quality great. Service is quick if a little inattentive

Nothing beats Societi. The most consistent restaurant in Cape Town for brilliant atmosphere, superb quality of food and impeccable service! (Don't take my word for it – just view the endless accolades and awards on the wall before you enter the courtyard). It always feels...More
On arrival we were greeted with a glass of fizz as table booked by our hotel. Tried ostrich burger (a first!) which did not disappoint. We were seated in the outside orangery where chairs had blankets on despite it being Spring however we didn't feel...More

Dear CIndyCapeTown & Martin, Would it be possible for you to please meet with our chef and our owner at your convenience to discuss your experience? Thank you very much. Kind regards, Johan
The restaurant has a wide rage of suggestion in terms of food and Drink, Friendly staff, and if you are ever in the city at a cold day a fire is set up to keep you warm and cozy. Over all an amazing experience
Societi bistro is a great French restaurant. All of the dishes that we had were very tasty especially the fillet and sirloin dishes. The desserts were also delicious- especially the butterscotch, chocolate nemesis and lemon tart. I highly recommend it.
Food was good, location was good, prices no problem. The old house that its occupying was great. But what made it special was the manager who took the time to turn our meal into a experience, What a nice man! Thank you.
