This is a good Franchise, but when badly Managed the result is excruciating. Oysters ordered where tiny, expensive of of mediocre quality. The management response when queried on this was a shrug of the shoulders, "Not my problem" attitude. The main course East Coast Potjie was likewise of inferior quality and taste. Service was mediocre. Save yourself the frustration and... More

They have a good selection of seafood and shellfish, service was good and the staff eager to sell! Pricing was above average for the small Kingklip which I had and the bottle of red wine was not too cheap either. They have a litte better view to the outside than the other restaurants in Tygervalley as they are right at... More

Went for lunch on the last Friday of January when you would expect this very nice venue to be buzzing; sadly, only 2 other tables occupied so no vibe at all in such a large venue. Food was very good although menu not well explained as, for instance, had grilled fish, expected it to come with chips but as I... More

During a five week stay on the Cape (Dec/Jan 16/17 - we used Cape Town Fish Market outlets four times; twice at Steenberg in the suburbs, once at Century City food court and once on the Waterfront - the latter was being built when we were last in Cape Town in December '14. It says it all really that we... More

We were after a quick and easy meal and were not disappointed. We had a seafood platter, which was delicious and then ordered two medium fish and chips. The fish portion was huge! But incredibly flakey and perfectly cooked. We also stayed and had dessert as the service we had received was very good. It was a great place to... More

Lovely restaurant when you are in the mood for gourmet sushi and seafood. I recommend going on Tuesdays when they have half price sushi. Also enjoyed a lovely chocolate volcano dessert. Would love to visit here again

Bitterly disappointed in seafood chain that has become a bit of an institution in South Africa and beyond. Quality of sushi, poor service and lack of management oversight will drive you to try the slot machines rather. At least the machines respond when you press the button! 'Tried to have a quick meal at the sushi bar at Grand West... More

Arrived in Cape Town after two flights from Munich. Went to check out the Waterfront V&A and found this place that look quiet and relaxing overlooking the clock tower and the swing bridge. Stayed for a couple glasses of wine and two dishes - fish and chips and cuttlefish. Both were decent for a light lunch while people watching. The... More

When shopping at Canal Walk it is hard to find healthy food. Lots of fast food outlets at the food court but nothing quick and healthy. We decided to have sushi in desperation. It was not very good and my friend left half the seafood said concotion on the plate. Service was not very attentive and we couldn't wait to... More
