This restaurant used to be called Wasabi. It deteriorated beyond repair, and now it became The Raj sushi and Indian restaurant. We had sushi which was ok, but the chicken tikka salad was totally unimaginative: loaded with onion and orange slices. The service was terrible....More

Some years ago, this was a regular Sunday haunt. The sushi was great, if expensive. The wine too is expensive. With time the sushi deteriorated somewhat so we have it a break. They then entered into Tapas and Dim Sum, so we went along to...More

This was the second time we have been to Wasabi and unfortunately were rather disappointed. The salmon sashimi didn't taste that fresh and the grilled salmon was raw in the middle and had to be sent back. We wont go again.

We have been coming to Wasabi for about seven years and have always found the sushi to be worth the money. This time however we had to constantly ask for our wine to be topped up and were shocked to see the sushi had halved...More

What we hoped would be a very special dinner with our distinguished guest after he had driven hours to give a lecture, turned into a frustrating and embarrassing experience where everybody just wanted to get out of the restaurant. When we asked our waiter about...More

We shared our first meal as husband and wife at this stunning restaurant. We were surprised with some complimentary champagne which we shared with divine sushi starters. I had an absolutely delicious lamb shank, while my husband had a sushi platter. The chocolate dessert was...More

Description
Wasabi Restaurant was established on the 1st of April 2001 by Roy de Gouveia, since then it has evolved in so many ways, including 2 major renovations. The first in 2004 and the most recent in 2008. With the re-launch of the new Wasabi, we added a beautiful fireplace and the new Dim Sum section in the front of the restaurant. We have since evolved as a team and are doing the best to produce food at a consistently high level. Our focus has always remained sushi, our cooked food menu has definitely upped its game.
