Excellent food, spot on wine pairing. Reservations essential. Beautiful setting. Memorable in more ways than one. Acclaimed chef/owner.

The restaurant is magnificant and certainly worth to thrigh! The only problem is to get in ! You have to book already a few in advance to get place because there is also nothing else proper in Wilderness! So make your reservation in time!
I was hoping that Serendipity would be good, especially as we travelled 45m from Knysna to eat there. It wasn't just good but turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip and bearing in mind that we had eaten at top class...More

Beautiful setting and exceptional food. The evening started with the owner introducing us to the five course dinner ahead - very entertaining. The dinner and presentation were absolutely excellent and served by a very helpful and knowledgable team.
The menu has a lot of variety and the food is presented beautifully. A little bit pricey but you will have a lovely evening . If you venture into the garden watch the steps they can be slippery.
