I visited the Jaipur Palace for the first time today - for a business lunch. It was undoubtedly the best curry I have ever eaten. The mutton vindaloo was excellent. Plenty of mutton, not too spicy. Service was good and staff very friendly. I will go out of my way to dine there again.

Enjoyed the food, although bani chaw was a bit lacking the taste and was rather plain. Good value for money, you should try it at least once.

We visited Jaipur Palace last Tuesday and it was my third visit. We went for the buffet, it costs R160 per person. They offer numerous options for the food lovers. It has a good number of dishes for the veggiterians also. They serve almost all kinds of liquor also. Overall it's a good visit, will love to be there again.

I love curry, but don't eat it often. The rogan josh I had at Jaipur was by my standards very yummy. I ate at the road house, which is a take away, as I was on my own. The restaurant looks quite formal and upmarket. The staff were friendly and the service was good. Its the second time I have... More

after a 10 day travel out of the country...the only thing hubby and I wanted was a jaipur mutton curry bunny. the craving was satisfied. tasty and generous with meat and gravy it definitely hit the spot. add masala chips and we were over indulging. firm favourite with us.

Went with a couple of work colleagues to try out a new place and we were really disappointed. The presentation of the bunny was bad (on this huge metal dish) and the curry didn't have any taste. Nothing is worse than biting an elachi pod after a meal and I found five (5) (yes, i counted them) in my bunny.... More

Ordered the fish curry on Sunday afternoon – 29th January. Worst fish curry ever, dried pieces of hake that clearly had been in a freezer for a good few months. Note to Jaipur Palace – you’re in Durban – fresh fish is available around the corner. We’re disgusted with the quality of the food at this once-reasonable place.

We drove from Pmb to visit this restaurant and was not disappointed. Awesome service . The buffet food was delectable and full of flavour. Clean and neat ablution services . Fully licensed. Plush restaurant. Loved the Lamb breyani, trotters, crab curry, fish roes, lamb curry , butter chicken . In fact all of it was good.

Wide range of curries. Decent wine list. Big restaurant with a reasonable ambience. But slow and uninterested waiter.

This was our third visit in three years (we live in other cities). We decided to return due to past good experiences. Besides the food taking 90 minutes to prepare, the chicken was undercooked and lacked spiciness (unusual for Indian cuisine) - not even mild in flavour. A staple of Indian cuisine is naan bread. We were advised that the... More
